Cold, fine drops of rain fall softly on Evie's cheeks as she emerges from the darkness of the ship's interior to the gray, overcast sky of the main deck. Pulling her dark peacoat tighter to her body, the wind lifts red tendrils of her hair. She walks slowly to the railing overlooking the water. She catches her first sight of the Irish coastline; its craggy landscape makes her shiver in dread. She finds it difficult to imagine now how the Gancanagh had made this their home for so long without anyone realizing it. The cold, moss-covered edifices practically scream their presence. As she studies the shadows between the falling-down stone, she imagines creeping shapes of undead Faeries grasping the rock, waiting for their ship to draw nearer to their position. Tipping her face up, she lets the rain wash over her. It bathes away the frigid sweat of fear that has broken on her brow. "You don't know how fiercely beautiful you are, do you?" a quiet voice behind her asks, causing her to stiffen and fix her eyes on the rocks along the shoreline.

I have 3 kids that occupy all the TV's in the house...enough said...addicted to audiobook ....shhhh don't tell my husband ;-)
Everyone is still after Evie! Russell her soul mate wants her back because their souls belongs to each other. Evie's angel Reed is equivalent to being her husband is fighting to keep her and Brennas the faery vampire king is hunting her down. Reinforcements are called in to keep Evie safe from Brennas and it turns out to be Tao the highest ranking seraphim angel in paradise and he also happens to be Evie's father. Evie is uncertain in meeting her father until he shows up with his cronies and it turns out Evie has met him and his cronies before. Evie starts having flash backs of being in paradise and in love but the love wasn't Russell or Reed, she doesn't know what to think about that. The book is action packed and Evie is becoming a leader among the angels that might even rival her father's command. The plot thickens and I need the next book!
This book seemed to drag more than the others in the series. The drag started after Evie met her father. It did pick up a little toward the end. Narrator is great! I get Evie's character but she did a lot of whining. I wanted her to get a backbone, and just go after her man. I mean Reed is definitely worth it to her.
Amy is amazing at making you feel the characters; even become them. The love and torture throughout all 4 books is almost unbearable. She is an amazing writer and the narration is next to perfect.
She's great at different voices, even mens. The only thing that really bothers me about her narration is when Evie is cold and has chattering teeth. I can't stand the way that sounds and have to fast forward it because it's annoying sounding.
If you have been following the series, you probably know what to expect by now. it will not disappoint. Many other books that come in series start to fall apart after a few books, but this one is still very good. Now if she will only put out the next book! Can't wait for more of Reed.
I still don't know, because all the series is good, the last book is incredible, but in the end, the author (in my opinion) leaves everyone with a big question "And now?". When I finished the book, I couldn't beleive... so many questions, and no answer. So, I don't know if I'd listening again this book. For know, I'm little disapointed.
For me Emily's performance matches with this story.
I don't think so.
The series "Premonition" is wonderful. All the book are goods, but, the story ends so suddenly, that many questions remained without answer. For me, this series desserves continues with another book.
After reading all of the other books I was really looking forward to a finale. you do not get that with this book. I am incredibly disappointed with the ending.
I had purchased this audio book after reading the book just because I truly love the series. I have to say that the person narrating either needs a drink of water or needs to drink less. I love the story but I am really grossed out hearing every swallow, and the gummy sound of what sounds like a dry mouth. Again this is not a reflection on Amy's book just the narrator. Please, please, please if anyone reads this that can help with the rest of the books that are narrated for this series. Please address this. It really is disgusting and needs to be addressed.
Xavier's and Evie's Times together. Just the things he says really touches me.
Again the narrator needs to address the mouth noises.
Overall, yes the books is awesome! Really worth purchasing th he book.
Again another wonderful job done not just by the author, but by Emily and her performance! I would definitely listen to them again!!
Not only do I LOVE these books but Emily brings the characters to life for you! Emily did an AWESOME job bringing the books and characters to life. Best audible books thus far, thank you!!!
I greatly enjoy Evie and Brennas interactions. I am over the love triangle and am glad Russel has found someone. Reed was a little whiney during this book. I am still hooked and can not wait to read #5.
I loved hearing Emily read. I think the character I enjoyed the most was Brennas. Great accent, inflections, and expression in all the characters.
The end was a slow and drawn out but not horrible.
"Great book brilliantly read"
excellent well read
All 4 books are easy listening, very well narrated and good storyline. From a purely personal perspective I wanted Evie to grow a bit more of a spine!, it gets a bit long in the tooth being fearful for everyone all the time…come on you’re an Angel! And all your friends are Angels...
Emily Woo Zeller’s narration continues to be excellent and consistent accents between all characters. She play Evie very well!
If I had to, then yes I would, it is very easy listening
These are all great books for all types of people, easy to get into.
