He's silent - but his touch speaks louder than words.
At first sight, Savannah is drawn to the harsh appeal of a man who refuses to talk to her. Keenan's hard stare is arrogant and unapologetic. The quirk of his sensuous lips is cocky and in control.
But there's more. There's something deeper he's trying to hide behind those steely gray eyes - a slight hint of vulnerability that captures her intrigue.
She'd been warned, told that his silence hides a myriad of lies capable of affecting her career and relationships with loved ones. Only she can't help herself. Testing Keenan's defenses is an addiction she can't deny.
Falling in lust is easy. Learning his secrets comes with a price. The cost? Her broken heart.

I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
I nearly passed on this listen because I prefer heroes who are bossy dirty talking alpha types - but let me tell you girls THIS hero didn't need words.. his touch, his body and his steamy passion-filled looks said everything just fine. And when he's apologetic, frustrated, angry, confused, heartsick, heartbroken.. and desperate - he resorts to post-it notes, his phone and emails to get his message across.
Savannah was smart, hardworking, savvy and dedicated to her job but a rival hotel chain called Grandiosity was poised to take-over one of the Rydel hotels and it wasn't going well because there were problems on top of problems and one crisis after another so Savannah was sent to Seattle to smooth things over. She had three months to sort things out or they were going to hit mega $ penalties which would be a financial disaster for the company. Savannah confessed to knowing Penny who was the assistant to the CEO of Grandiosity and Penny was also the one that was stirring up all the trouble.. but what Savannah didn't confess to was the animosity, bad blood and dislike between her and her cousin Penny.. and their relationship wasn't going to help the situation at all.
Savannah's fate was sealed as soon as she committed to go to Seattle.. because, at a family party on her first night there, Savannah would meet Keenan who was Mr Moody, Mr Charismatic, Mr Secretive, Mr Sexy and Mr Arrogant all wrapped up in Mr Mysterious and Mr Silent's oh so fit body.. and the sexual attraction between her and Keenan would be explosive. But Keenan was going to be at the party with her cousin Penny who was not going to play fair, was going to be a jealous b..tch, was going to muddy the waters and stake her claim over Keenan. However, Savannah was going to stand her ground and stake her own claim.. one that would be tested, uprooted and withdrawn when Keenan's tightly guarded secrets were found out.
This was one of those addictive listens that I didn't know whether to greedily devour or slowly savor bite by delicious bite because the well written storyline was compelling, its characters had depth, it was filled with highly-charged angst, clandestine passionate meetings and there was a jaw dropping twist as Keenan's secrets were discovered one by one. And it's chapters held humor, passion, sex, suspense, drama, heartache, second and third chances, a frustrated strong heroine and a enigmatic mysterious hero who didn't need words.. until he begged (via heartfelt emails) for forgiveness and for another chance. Told from Savannah's POV with one or two from Keenan's and good narration.
Worth a credit? Yes.. lust, passion, secrets, suspense, heartache and a HEA are all here in this very enjoyable and compelling rollercoaster love story. There was insta-lust and an insta-connection which doesn't bother me but beware if your not a fan of this.
Enjoyable but it did take awhile to get into it, at time I found the charators a little annoying. I think Maxine did a great job narrating, very animated and made the story more relatable. DC Cole only has a very minor part at the end but his performance is always brilliant.
I am a real listener with almost 500 books in my library - none were given to me in exchange for my review. My opinion is unbiased. AJ
This story was somewhat engaging but did not draw me into "needing" to find out what happens next. I kept listening and hoping a story would develop but really it was just relationship drama. I guess I need more than instalove and misunderstandings to keep me entertained.
We finally find out why the main character is "inarticulate" but it is really anti-climatic.
Not my favorite narrator but she is good with angst and drama.

The story itself was my favorite thing about Inarticulate. It was a unique storyline.
The most memorable had to be when Savanah found out that Keelan could talk but chose not to. That was the most heartbreaking thing I think that could have happened to Savannah.
The infliction of voice. I was even able to hear the sarcasm in Savannah's voice when she was talking to Spencer.
Yes it was. And I did listen to it all in one sitting.
***I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review*** So as many of you may know, I am new to the Audiobook thing, but I am pleased to say I actually am enjoying audio books. They are easy for me to listen to either in the car or while at work running spreadsheets. This was also my first book by Eden Summers and I am impressed. This was an intense book that kept me on my toes. I was also very pleased by the ending because throughout the book, you second guess what you predicted. Needless to say, don't second guess yourself. Savannah... She is a great female character that many will be able to relate to. She has had her life ripped apart from her father suddenly leaving when she was a teenager, to her cousin getting jealous over a guy she kissed... or that is at least what she thought. Savannah meets the mysterious and quiet Keenan when she is trying to fix things with her cousin. Keenan... mysterious, Sexy, mouth watering Keenan. Do I need to say more? Oh yeah ... he is quiet, why you might ask? Well he doesn't exactly talk.... to anyone. Or so we all thought. In the beginning, Savannah struggled with Keenan not being able to speak since she had to try to figure out what he wanted. She definitely figured out what he wanted and as they grew closer and closer, she knew what he wanted. What happened? Well you are going to have to read or listen to the audio version like I did to find out. I loved this book and cannot wait to read or even listen to another audiobook from this author.
This audiobook was very entertaining and I enjoyed listening! The author writes wonderful stories that hold my attention, and this one didn't disappoint! The narration was excellent by the indomitable Maxine Mitchell. Highly recommend!
I thought it was such an interesting story. I love when there is a communication barrier to overcome. I feel like it forced Savannah and Keenan to respond to each other on a more emotional level. The narrators did a good job. I loved the way the story twisted at the end.
*I volunteered to review a Copy of this audiobook from Give Me Books Promotions / The Author*

The story has laughs, secrets, betrayal, suspense and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this short story.
This is Savannah and Keenan’s story. Keenan does not speak. He has secrets and in the end is everything these secrets hiding going to destroy Savannah? Keenan is able to be open around Savannah’s cousin but not her. This leaves Savannah to walk away feeling betrayed. Can these two get past the secrets and lies in order to build a relationship? Or will other people get involved to make sure that does not happen? These two have a passionate chemistry that one touch makes them explosive but can that passion help or hurt them in the end?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book.
***Listened to this book on audible. Narrated by Maxine Mitchell who did a great job. You could feel the emotion in the reading which sometimes with audible is hit or miss. Great story to begin with but the voice she gave it made that much more. A lot of times with listening it makes the story come alive. Like I stated sometimes depending on the voice it's hit or miss but this voice what perfect for this story.
Michelle B - A Woman and Her Books
This was an amazing listen. I received this for a review voluntarily. I have listened to Eden Summers audiobooks before and she never ceases to amaze me with her words and with the narration of her work. Maxine Mitchell was outstanding. I felt as if I was actually in the story through the feeling and inflection of her voice alone.
