When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.
Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.

I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
This one has everything I love in my audio book experience. I can't wait until the next one comes out. There's just nothing else to add. Use your credit or buy it because your going to love this one!!!
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
I loved this book! OMG hot and heavy! Great Sex scenes! BDSM but not too much. This writer did a amazing job with this book. I could feel the emotions and pain of the two main charaters. I could not but this book down. If you like the Fifty Shades of Grey series or Crossfire books then these books are for you.
I really struggled listening to this book. Not because the story was bad but because the entire time the narrorator makes to many gross noises with her mouth! It really distracted me from the story. It sounds like she needed to drink water or something so her mouth would stop making these weird sounds! She unfortunately reads the other two books in the series too and just listening to those audio samples I could hear the same noises. I'm going to have to read those books instead of listening to them. There's no way I can make it through two more books with crackling sloppy saliva sounds!
I have a collection of earbuds to match my moods and audio genres. Today was red for romance, tomorrow purple for paranormal...
I was able to adjust the speed at which the narrator spoke and that allowed me to enjoy the book. The smacking and gulping disappeared The first chapter did start poorly but the story improved greatly. The characters are beautifully broken and do actually compliment the other's quirks. It was well written and did not include a lot of inner monologue and emotional angst. The characters conversed with each other often and focused on building a relationship. The bedroom play was kept to a minimum and I found it more educational and amusing than repulsive. (No anal play thankfully.) I recommend adjusting the speed on an app if the narrator is too annoying. Now I am eager to hear Book 2 since it is a to be continued book.
Say something about yourself!
Thank goodness this was awesome! I have been afraid to try this series, too many up and down reviews...it's a rip off of this it's a rip off of that....well I'm here to say it's not a rip off of anything! It's an all new book and an all new story...is there a virgin, is there a billionaire, yes and yes...but the virgin had a good reason to be one...and she's the damaged one...but not super damaged as in some other books. Is there Dom/sub stuff...yes...but in a WHOLE new consensual give and take way.
What can I say....from page one I was totally caught up...I wanted to listen at every moment of the day until it was done, I wanted to know what happened next. Anyone who follows me knows I'm not a fan of contrived drama...drama for the sake of continuing a story line, drama that would never happen if people would just talk to each other. Every book seems to have some to a certain extent, and this one was on the lower end. There was drama but it was of the needed and emotional roller coaster kind. I have to say I hated the main male character...then I adored him....then I thought wow what a total p*ick! Then I adored him again...his mess ups were just SO typical male! I just wanted to scream, you STUPID NAIVE MAN! I think we can all agree that sometimes men confound us with their logic...they aren't being dumb they are just being MALE, and this book was full of stupid male...but in a believable way.
The one small complaint I have in this book is that the female lead wouldn't tell the guy how she felt...I get that she is damaged, but I just wanted to scream at her to get over it, or not even try. I spent most of the book thinking will she give him a chance...does he deserve a chance..will they get a chance?
Bottom line I am off to get book 2, hope book 3 is out soon because I can tell this is going to be one of those all consuming trilogies for me where I am dying to know how it all unravels. I would pay full price for this book, and that's saying something!!!
I love to read and listen to erotica all types and paranormal vamps and shifters
I love this book James Cavendish is a very hot sadist. Bianca is so unsure of herself and yes she has many reasons listening to the book for me is better than reading it. I love this series and can't wait to listen to the next book
Really! Orgasmic and erotic! I like it so much! Can't wait for the next book to be out!
I loved this book! The best thing about it is that there's a second and third book and I can't wait to hear them! I loved the narrator as well, which initially I thought she was too 'mouthy'--I could hear every movement and breath, it was strange, but, somehow her voice became very appealing. Overall, this is another fantastic love story, on par with Tristan and Dannika for sure! I love the characters. I especially enjoyed these two--James and Bianca. I'm not always into the Dom/Sub thing, but, I liked their dynamic, and James' ever changing mood and total obsession with Bianca. Loved it!
If this is your first time considering an RK Lilley book, you are in for a treat! Great characters with very interesting--if not a bit tragic--back stories, and seriously hot sex that is off the charts! Absolutely worth a credit, a very 5-star worthy purchase in my book!
"A good book is the best contentment has"
She was just okay, i think the story was really bad. Male voices weren't great. She sounded like she had an excess of mucus.
A flight attendant who can paint, why isn't she a painter? A least she has one talent
I really wasn't feeling this book. Even the character's inner monologues were shallow and uncomplicated. The writing was bad. Also, never open a door if someone is covering the peephole. Especially if you are the type of person to install bars on the windows and doors and to pay for a security system. Moron.
