    "Amazing!"

This one is the best one so far. A lot of answers and a lot of excitement.
The author really did an amazing job developing the character and giving you just enough info to keep you wanting for more. The narrator really is right on par with the accents and nuances of each character. 5 stars all the way to this one too!

    "CAPTIVATING PARANORMAL!!!!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Impulse to be better than the print version?

    Nope, they are both exceptional.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love them all. If i had to pick one; Christian Poe. His sense of humor is oscar worthy.
Nobody dresses like that where we’re going. You look like Satan on a holiday.” “You have on a leather jacket,” he said observantly. “But I’m not wearing leather pants commando.” “You noticed.” His smug grin broadened. “As did every passenger on this plane.

What does Nicole Poole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the characters to life, right off the pages as the author Dannika Dark has done with writing this novel.

The art of love is largely the art of persistence. - Albert Ellis

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Everything...Dannika Dark takes you on a wonderful journey with the characters. She takes you into the world of The Breed, as if you have actually entered it through a warp in time. “Don’t speak to me about love; you don’t know anything about my life. For the record—I don’t care about love, because love never cared about me.

”Christian tossed his arm around Justus’s shoulder with a stern expression. “I’ve never once felt sorry for you until this very day, Justus.” He laughed darkly. “Poor bastard.” His voice was Irish, Scottish, or Piggish—one of those ish countries. “Does she come with instructions? Clearly, batteries were not included.”

“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here.” My lips pressed together tightly. “I should say the same about you; we haven’t even gotten through introductions and there you are, sizing me up to see if I’m acceptable enough to meet your mum. I feel rather insulted, considering you’re only a Learner and I have half a mind to walk away.”

“He’s a twit,” I whispered. “I can heaarrr youuuu,” a deep voice sang out from the dining room. I rolled my eyes. “Spidey hearing. Any other talents I should know about?” Christian whistled in the other room—the kind of whistle that implied he had an answer to my question, and it was dirty.

“What the hell do I look like—a juice box?” Christian shouted from the other room.“Ghuardian, you neglected to mention that my partner would be a halfwit.” Christian squinted as he turned around. “I’ll have you know that my talents are legendary, and my reputation has spread like—” “A rash?”

“It’s your funeral. Logan is a Chitah.” Christian’s eyes widened. “You’re serious? You? And a Chitah?” He raked his fingers through his hair. “Shite, why didn’t you tell me you were dating a fecking lunatic? Those bastards have a thing about hunting you for life. Jaysus wept.

”Our alliance is built upon trust, integrity, truth, and secrecy.” “Trust, integrity… wait a minute, your motto’s acronym is TITS?”

“We may spend a lifetime searching and never find our Chitah kindred. A male knows her on sight. His desire for her becomes an unquenchable thirst, an undeniable need; he will want her just as sure as he draws breath and will lay down his life for her.” Logan sighed. “She does not feel the same pull, so the male must prove himself worthy to her. Nothing comes easy in life. He will always want his kindred, whether she accepts him or not.”

There are too many priceless memorable moments.

    "Christian!!!!!!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Impulse to be better than the print version?

    Haven't read the print.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Impulse?

Christian! Please make Silver choose Christian!!!!!

What about Nicole Poole’s performance did you like?

Great, except for angry screeches - actually, apart from that, she'd have to be the best audible voice so far. LOVE the accents.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES

    Any additional comments?

Please make Silver choose Justice or Christian - PLEASEEEEEEE!!!!! :)

    "Main Character Never Evolves"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. If the main character grew with the story and evolution of the books, these books would be pretty good. The narration is good and the story line interesting. But the author insists on using the weakness and stupidity of the main character as the mechanism to forward plot. This is a shame because the books have many other good qualities.
