Monster, Traitor, and Avenger, available in one collection!
My life was irrevocably changed that night. The night I was taken. I saved a man's life, but at what cost to myself? Can I convince him to save me in return?
I hate him for what he's done to me. But the longer I'm trapped with him, the harder it is to cling to that hatred. He is an enigma of a man, one who is shockingly arrogant, sweetly contrite, and frighteningly aggressive by turns. And the pain in his eyes is a mirror for my own.
The longer I remain in his grip, the more confused I become.
Is my freedom worth betraying him?
This collection includes all three original Impossible novellas: Monster, Traitor, and Avenger. These novellas tell the first story in the Impossible Series. They are followed by Savior (An Impossible Novel), but The Original Trilogy can be read as a standalone.
Note: This series contains strong language and scorching sex scenes involving light BDSM.

I found it hard to believe that a well educated Dr (Claudia) would start to fall in love with anyone who was pushy, bossy, and was holding her captive (Sean). I don't think that any educated Dr would want to be dominated especially after the upbringing she had. I really liked Clayton the best. The plot was not my cup of tea, everything was very predictable. The narration was good, no complaints there.
I would not.
Maybe if it was Free, but other than that i don't think i would
I did love the Irish Accent, and i would give Lynn another chance.
Sorry this book may be for some, but it was just not for me.
I loved this book! It has thrills, chills, romance, hot & spicy, mystery, lots of danger & raw emotions in it. You will even need a Kleenex or two!
Dr Ellers is a young female pediatrician. One night as she was leaving work, she was held at gunpoint and forced to drive to an apartment where a gunshot victim lies dying in his own blood. Dr Ellers is told she has to make the victim (Sean) better or she dies too.
Sean gets better in a few days, but then Bradley, the kidnapper and Sean's friend decides they can't let her go. Bradley wants to kill her anyways, but Sean refuses to let an innocent woman die, especially one that saved his life.
In this story, we get to explore the world of mobsters , drugs and crimes. We get to watch as the FBI come in tho save the day and learn how the mobs world unravels.
This is a great story. The plot is excellent! The suspense had me holding on for every word. The danger and the sex was exciting! The author, Julia Sykes did a really great job writing this trilogy. The narrator, Lynn Barrington did a fabulous job delivering this story to us. The narrators words were spoken clearly & flawlessly. The accents and multiple voices were spot on and very believable! My hopes in continuing this series is that the same narrator gets used. I love books when they use he same voices for each book in a series! All in all, this is a really great story! Kudos to you both!!!
The heroine of Impossible, Claudia, is stupid, self-centered wench. She didn't deserve an HEA. I'm disappointed in myself for finishing the book, but damn I'm persistent and just couldn't stop. It was rather like watching a train wreck without the care you would have for the total strangers who would be on the train.
Yes. It tells a great story. The evolution of Claudia was well done. I liked how she was open to new things, but never gave up being strong about what she wanted.
Twist me, Keep me, and Hold me.
The sex scenes. They were erotic but tasteful.
When she had to turn in the man she loved.
I am a Lover of Audible books and also cd and mp3 books. I have 3 grown children, 8 grandchildren and I have been married for 30 years.
Great story, it flows right from the start....
Sean, he is a Good Bad boy Dom that protects what is his.....
she brought the story to life, you can almost picture each character just by the voice she gave them......
the mafia Dom and his Dr. prisoner girlfriend
I enjoyed this book it was a Great Read.....
I couldn't finish this book.... the plot just drags on and on. when I realized I could wait for it to be over I decided to turn it off.
Mom of three and a full time job who enjoys reading but doesn't have time. This is perfect: plug in my headphones and I'm on my way.
Powerful- romantic- sexy- so many words to describe!!!!!
I loved the story the only thing Claudia did get on my nerves from time to time but overall great listen. Lynn Barrington made the story come alive!! Julia Sykes- Clayton needs his own story!!!!
Audible addict... need i say more
all I have to say is that there should be more crime investigation erotica contemporary romances
Like Claudia, I was fascinated by Sean from the beginning. What an intriguing mix of traits he revealed ever so slowly to Claudia. He never reacted like you'd expect a gangster to react.
Overall, a good trilogy. The focus was much more on the emotional side of BDSM than on the details, but both aspects were fairly accurate.
There was a plot hole that bugged me. Near the end when Claudia is kidnapped and Sean's father is trying to drug her, he says it will look like a suicide. But Claudia is a doctor with absolutely no history of drug use, so why would anyone think a drug overdose would be a suicide? Why didn't Claudia at least THINK this point, if not SAY it out loud? It just didn't make any sense to me.
Lynn Barrington does a fantastic job narrating "Impossible". I always love Lynn's work, but this has to be one of the best I've heard so far. Her voice is the perfect fit for the erotica genre.
