Publisher's summary

It's Christmas in Half-Moon Hollow and newly turned vampire Iris Scanlon-Calix wants to make Gigi's first visit home from college as normal and special as possible. It's taken months for Iris to work up the nerve to spend time around her baby sister after her vampire transition, so she enlists help from Jane Jameson and Company to keep her blood-thirst under control and assure Gigi's safety. Gigi, on the other hand, has problems of her own, including the demise of her relationship with high school sweetheart, Ben, and a looming job interview with Ophelia Lambert, the scariest potential employer in the Hollow. And then there's the small matter of the handsome, frustrating vampire who keeps appearing in Gigi's peripheral vision, then disappearing before she can talk to him. Can the Scanlon sisters negotiate romantic problems, vampire politics, and Christmas cookie disasters and enjoy a relatively normal holiday?

Funny, cute and delightful to listen to.

I want more of this story. Gigi is a very funny character and I found my self really wanting to hear more when this story ended. Most of all I want to know who the cute vampire was that surprise kissed Gigi. OK, I am going to have to purchase book 2 because Half Moon Hollows book 2.5 was terrific. Thanks for the Christmas gift.

FUNNY AND QUITE GOOD

I usually don't like vampire books and undead ones. I ended up getting this one sort of by mistake, but finally decided, I bought it, I better at least listen. Now I want to get the whole series, it was funny and well put together. Sometimes we go at series backwards, and now I want to get the first of the series. So good, LOL

Can't wait for the follow up book

What other book might you compare Free: I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas to and why?

This series is so inclusive and built out. The only series that I could compare it to is the Sookie Stackhouse series. I prefer this one to that. The characters are more fleshed out and believable. I love all the female characters even the "bad" ones. Dick Cheney is one of a kind. I recommend this series and anything written by Molly Harper to anyone. If you read Sookie Stackhouse and enjoyed it at all, you will LOVE this series.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have actually chosen books specifically because Amanda Ronconi is such a great performer. It is how I stumbled onto Molly Harper's books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to and I did.

Chick Lit at it's best!

A nice Holiday addition to the Jane Jamison spin-offs. Light, romantic, fun. Molly Harper is always a fun read.

Will there be more?

Hope this is not the end of the series. I have said it before, these women are lucky, but it is a great read. A good plot, good characters. Yes there are steamy scenes but they are short, can move through them quickly. Enjoy.

It was so funny, some of the scenes made me laugh out loud. I liked the story so much that I'm looking forward to what will happen next.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Free: I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas?

The sweet potato scene, to funny. Just think of the worst thing that could happen while cooking.

Gigi was my favorite, her dilemma and experiences were truly entertaining. Her interview with vampires, her experience trying to find a tree with her sister etc...

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment when the mysterious vampire kissed Gigi. She doesn't even know who it is. Gigi was worried about someone seeing her.
