**Thank you everyone for the auditions, but this is currently under negotiations.** Chase Winters was the bane of my existence.
But he was also the lifeline of my heart and soul. Literally.
Things are steaming up between us, and between the sheets. When his lips weren't locked with mine, they were spewing verbal crap. Half the time I don't know whether to kiss him or slap him. Our bond was more than just being connected, we are soulbound. The closer we get, the stronger the bond takes hold and now-a-days it seemed we are inseparable.
There was a new addition to our little town, one that has all the Divisa's on guard – a hunter has taken up residency. This hunter was not just another threat, not when their identity hit a little close to home. Strife divides my neighbor's household surrounding this supposed enemy. Could they be friend or foe?
Chase's number one priority in all this as always, was to keep me safe.
Regardless of what Chase says, I am not the weak and fragile human they all think I am. And there was nothing I wouldn't do to keep Chase from harm. He might drive me up a freaking wall, but he was my pain in the ass. I wasn't about to sit back and let some hunter fire an arrow through his heart. Not if I could help it.
Then there was the one question that was on everyone's mind: Will the hunter kill us or save us…

Overall pretty good, still not crazy about the narrator but still interesting. Not as fast paced as the last book but still kept my interest.
I am a fun loving mom that enjoys a great Book!! I'm happy to have Audible with a busy life it makes it so easy to still get lost in a book!
SO HAPPY FOR THE NARRATOR CHANGE....I DON'T MEAN THAT IN A RUDE WAY EITHER!! I JUST THINK EMILY DOES A WAY BETTER JOB FOR THIS SERIES!!
story was good but why on earth did they change the narrator? The original one was so much more enjoyable to listen to. Her voice is whiny and very "valley girl". Unfortunately I want to know how it ends so I have no choice but to put up with it. Lame!
Lux series, Being that this author did take a lot from that book. The character personalities are almost spot on, along with a lot of the story line. This book did veer from that path which made it a little easier to handle. There were massive amounts of grammatical errors. I found myself finding a correction every other chapter.
Not really, the narrator had more of a whiny tone to her voice. Everything sounded like a complaint or a whine and it was pretty frustrating. I feel like she could have been more put together
Not necessarily. There were some hearty moments but none that were that great
I feel like the writing could use some work. For instance, the characters were over-dramatic in situations they shouldn't have been, and didn't put much drama into the scenes that were a little more dramatic. I found myself saying "Why are they making such a huge deal out of this" or " Why aren't they making a bigger deal out of this?" a lot. Some parts were underplayed. She also isn't really good at following up with some of the story lines to get you to understand it better. For Instance, there haven't been anymore run in with chases "demon" in the first book the demon recognized her but all of a sudden the demon doesn't come out anymore. Other than those issues the book wasn't bad.
carino anche questo... Forse più bello del primo..lo consiglio a quelle persone a cui piacciono le cose romantiche
"awesome very good"
this was so breathtaking to read as a teenager. this should be a movie series
