Not Bad....Not Bad At All! :-)

After listening to the first book in this series I was skeptical about moving on to the second book, but this story did not disappointment. (It was much better than book one :-)!

The world Evangeline has created is unique with interesting concepts and the character development was great. There are several different POV’s and I really enjoyed learning about the different characters; even the bad ones. The plot is well written and will transition smoothly into the next book where we will learn more about the existing characters as well as new ones.

Overall, I was very pleased with the story and have actually recommended this series to several of my friends. So far, they’ve all said positive things about this series.

**Recommended for those who like Sci-fi Romances with a little erotica thrown in to spice it up!

Loved it!
Like how the Kindred go into rage/revenge for any past transgression a human male did their future bride.
Narration was good but still prefer a male to do their own voice not a women.

guilty pleasure

This book was just what I needed. A sexy suspension of reality with large dirty talking aliens. My last few books left me unsatisfied so I decided to go in a different direction and wasn't disappointed. Sure there were some shake my head moments, like when Olivia left the room knowing she was told to stay put for her safety. The fact that he explained that he hasn't been scent marking her as he should and it would be dangerous for her to go out in public alone made her decision even that more stupid. whatevs.....

I think this series will be my guilty pleasure and I'll fill in a book between other things so i don't finish it so quickly...lol.

Great narration

The narrator was the absolute best for this book! She captured the characters perfectly, each voice was distinct, each character rang true! This was a typical but very enjoyable alien love story with steamy bits! Alien abduction, post traumatic stress, Vulcan mind melding, astral travel, concept of folding space to go great distances or light years away, D/S play, multiple partner sex, and vampiric biting all in one story. And a series no less! Try this one, you wont be disappointed.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to anyone who loves great paranormal reads. I have the ebook and having the audible is fantastic because I can listen to the stories I love while doing everything that needs to be done but also because this series is most definitely one of my favorite paranormal series and should be read and listened to by many.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love all of the characters but of course in this book Sylvan has my heart. It's his story and you experience how much he wants Sophia and throughout the whole story you want him to finally have his mate. However, I'm absolutely read to have Locke, Deep and Kat's story. The buildup of their story in this book definitely makes you crave Sought.

What does Anne Johnstonbrown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Listening to the audible of Hunted by Anne Johnstonbrown was amazing. I love how every characters personality shows even when listening to the audible instead of reading the book and no characters voice is the same. Every characters stubbornness, protectiveness, determination and love I experienced when reading the book couldn't have been displayed better than this; I personally don't think it can get better than this. I truly hope Anne Johnstonbrown is chosen to do every book in the Brides of the Kindred series because I cannot see anyone else doing a more perfect job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There wasn't a moment in the book that particularly moved me but I enjoyed it immensely and have more than a few good laughs.

Love love this series and Sylvan is my favorite Kindred Warriors. Amazing exciting scifi very hot romantic adventure immersing you in the wonderful worlds of the Kindred.

What did you like best about this story?

I really like the hero Sylvan, he is a leader, intelligent, gorgeous hunky warrior and medical doctor. The right amount of brave, sensitive, romantic sexy hero to steal any girls heart.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scenes at the cabin that Sylvan and Sylvia seek refuge in are very special and hot (have ice cubes ready).

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Welcome back to the World of The Kindred Warriors, an awesome sequel to Claimed

Another great narration by Anne Johnstonbrown, enjoyed experiencing this amazing book with audio. Highly recommend listening to this audio version of Hunted it will take you on a ride you won't want to end.

Steamy.

Just as good as the first book. There is a little more action in this book than there was in the first book so that helps. This is another steamy Kindred story that makes your toes curl. Sophie was a very fragile character and I would have liked to have seen a bit more backbone in the heroine, but it is what it is. It always amazes me how Evangeline Anderson manages to have all of the heroines end up naked in her books without it starting out as a sex scene. I'm starting to guess when that will happen in each book now. I did like the story and am looking forward to more from this author. I only wish there were more Kindred book on Audible to enjoy. I may just have to actually read them. Narrator does a good job, I am clear on who is who when it comes to all the characters.

Ok to be completely honest

So this wasn't a totally bad story I liked the sci-fi I liked the alien romance I like the surrounding story. What I didn't like was the fact that it took so long for the heroin Sophia to conquer her fears through three fourths of the book almost to the very end she was just whiny and that was annoying I understand when heroines have to have fears to conquer and have to have some Epiphany but does it have to take so stinking long and did she have to be so whiny during the whole book. Also I love the eroticism in the book I love the sexuality of the book but if I never hear the word pu$$y again it would still be too soon the author needs to get a thesaurus and find some other word to use because I heard that word more often than any other word in the book I have read and listened to plenty of romance novels and so many others come up with so many different names for it. And I'm not a prude obviously because of the book I'm reading but I can handle only hearing it so many times before getting kind of bored with the word.

What made the experience of listening to Hunted the most enjoyable?

I cant pinpoint exactly what it was that was most enjoyable. it was everything i was excited about this book because I was interested in the relationship from the first book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sofia is my favorite character because you see sooo much growth from her and it shows that love really can heal anything if you give it a chance. Zan is a close second for me you see a big change in him, I literally started balling like a baby, you feel his heart break and die...

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was probably when Sofia was trying to seduce Silven and her tharp was "misbehaving" again

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

damn a tag line? ummm will love win out and heal the shadows of the past or will the shadows be too great and prevail?I don't know if that is a tag line or not but that's all I could think of.

I am dying in anticipation of the next one. I would love to see more about Zan and see him find some peace.
