Terrific

I loved this book. I have read it several times. the story is so unique that I read most of this series. Some of these are a bit less than this one but good non the less. Enjoy this one.

Could be better with different narration

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story is ok but the author made up her own version of cus words " Gods Blood" being one of them and she uses it every other sentence and it is Very distracting and it sounds so stupid.

What didn’t you like about Suzanne Cypress’s performance?

The narittion was horrible. It took me a few different times starting this book before I stuck with it till the end. The story turned out ok but the naritor never seamed to portray the correct emotion making the carictors a little odd at times.

Any additional comments?

All in all I will listen to the next book seeing it is a different naritor and I had bought it at the same time as I did this one. But if it does not get better I will not be continuing the series.

Not Enough To Hook Me

Got this on the First Of The Series sale for $4.95. I have no regrets buying it, but I won't be listening to the rest of the series. It didn't hook me. I found my mind wandering while listening more than once, and didn't seem to miss anything important. Performance of Roman was flat throughout most of the book.

Can't go wrong with Fun Vamps

Would you try another book from Kerrelyn Sparks and/or Suzanne Cypress?

Narrator:Suzanne Cypress does a pretty good job. Though the voices could of been better. Still was enjoyable and will listen to it again.Some reviewers didn't think this book was funny, I wonder why. Because I did! [giggles]
Love the opening scene when Gregori and Laszlo introduce Vanna to Roman...Laugh out loud moment.
There's fun banter all through the book.
I will get more of this series.

funny and sexy

I love Mrs sparks and her wiy. het characters are so alive and believable. I fell in love with Roman while Shanna did

The book was good but, the use of "God's blood" is used WAY too much. It was annoying.

I read this book a while back. I loved it then, and I love it now. Every time is like brand new for me.

I loved the humor and old style manners , highlanders are such a bonus.
I want a man like Roman!

Not at all what I expected

The overall story was okay and it had its funny moments, but somewhere along the way the story lost or never picked up something. I'm not sure which, it left a lot to be desired. I truly expected more and kept waiting and waiting but it never came. Like I said overall it was an okay book. The story ends up being more about avenging old debts and enemies. It also has some of the most cheesy lines you have ever heard. If you ever watched old, old black and white Dracula movies then you know exactly what I mean, but the writer wants you to believe this is happening in modern times. Can't have it both ways.

Love the Audio Book Experience

The "Love at Stake" series is one of my favorites and I have read every book through the current, in come cases, mulitple times. I enjoyed the audio book version of "How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire", and while the narration was not totally perfect, it was very good. For the most part I enjoyed how Ms. Cypress was able to vary the character voices and her treatment of the various accents of the characters. I particurly like how she captured the characters of Gregori and Laszlo.
