Great story, beautiful performance, poor editing
This was a fantastic story by one of my favorite authors! The story was told beautifully and was incredibly engaging. However the editing of this audiobook is rough—there are sometimes full words cut off at the end of sentences and awkward clips or pauses at various points. It is unfortunate that this editing was so rough, considering how otherwise incredibly positive this audiobook experience was. Still, I would highly recommend this book!

I Still have goosebumps!!
I Still have goosebumps after listening to this book. So.. at first going slowly into the story I kept thinking why the narrator has such a cold, lifeless voice for this girl. It all reveals at the end and I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone but this book is a very touching story of strength and overcoming one’s “monsters” in life. An eye opener, I am planning on purchasing this book for my children when they’re older to understand everything that this book is about. Very moving. Well written. And the narrator did a great job. Can’t find words to explain how awesome this book was without spoiling it, so just listen/read it and enjoy.

Speechless
I struggled with this book, but because it was bad, but because it was so hard for me to witness something I too, have experienced in life. The message of hope rang throughout the entire book and now resonates inside of me. The performance was better than I imagined possible. Outstanding.

Loved this book!
I loved this book so many unexpected turns! However my issue is with the audiobook there’s a click noise every so often that’s kind of annoying but nothing major but it also skips part of sentences such as “he leaned in to whisper...(skips) and then he leaned back and looked at me” like what? And it happens more than just a few times!

Great book :)
There were a few times throughout the book it sounded like it skipped a few words and repeated sentences, maybe 5-10x max. But I don’t think I missed anything important. It was a great book! The summary doesn’t do it justice whatsoever. You’re in for a wild ride.
