Fed up with the Hell's Kitchen pace of her life, Lara takes on a job as a private chef in the hope that she can see some of the world solo and free from restaurant life.
She doesn't expect the job to come with a South Florida player who is everything she's trying to flee. He's spoiled rotten, with a swollen ego massaged by every babe who crosses his red-carpet path. She's not so sure about the pet monkey, either.
Morgan is ready for a life with some meaning other than pain. His future will be different. He's on his way to take his share of his family's legacy and make peace with the unthinkable trauma of his emotionally crippling past. Morgan can't help but try to convince Lara what she assumes about him is wrong. At least it's going to be wrong from now on.
A rare encounter with a blue marlin's blade has Morgan fighting for his life. It's a battle of body and will as he struggles to contain the demons his fever unchains. Thrust into the role of medic for a man she's not sure what to think about, Lara finds out how raw and compelling an injured man's soul can be.
This is the first in the WET serial trilogy. It is an erotic romance told from alternating points of view. Explicit scenes are intended only for adults who enjoy that sort of thing.

It's pretty high on my list.
You could compare it to J.S. Scott's billionaire books because the plot of a regular girl meeting a wounded/damaged billionaire is similar, but this one takes place on a boat and is unique in its own way.
Wow, where to start? They are both so believable as the characters that you forget you're listening to a book and that it's not real. They really make audiobooks fun and addicting.
Yes, I did. The climax and injury were really dramatic.
Although I usually avoid serials, I'm really glad I gave this one a chance. I loved it and look forward to the next two parts. It combines great writing with great narration.
yes it was engrossing and emotional and happy
when he woke up in the hospital;
they are great and so bring the book to life
both laughed and cried
this book is emotional and so real
I loved this story. Finding the love of your life is sometimes harder than it should be. The saying "you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince", is truer than people think. I can't wait to hear the rest of the story.
I love the dynamic between Lara and Morgan.
They are great narrators. They bring such life to the characters.
Hooked by K.C. Falls was a great book. Morgan was a complicated man who lives on his fathers boat. Lara is a woman who just started a job on Morgan's boat. I loved reading how they grew closer even against all the odds. This was a great book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Gloria S Fridley

Kai amd Wen made this storyline HOT HOT HOT
Knowing that there was more of the story to come
Interesting twists and turns kept the story moving
As always, Kai & Wen bring the story to life.
Always love Kai's voices.
Wen's saucy, pissed off Mexican voice made me giggle. i could literally in vision the man storming off in anger.
Great storyline by K. C. Falls.
A very enjoyable read.
N.Y. Times Bestselling Author
The narrators were fantastic. They perform so well together and the chemistry makes the story that much more enjoyable.
Morgan and Lara were my favorites.
I loved the attraction the main characters had for each other
This was my first time reading a K.C. Falls book, but I really loved it. In fact I have already read the second installment and purchased the third. I am loving this series so far and watching how Morgan and Lara grow together as a couple.
