Nice Christmas story if you like this type of predictable story line. It was a short listen and sugary sweet. No real depth. But it maybe entertaining to you. It is a clean read.
Mona---very progressive but loving mother.
The time travel switches
I love this book, it has everything I love about books: Christmas, Revolution, Time Travel. I wish it was made into a movie.
Many of the books I've read by Heather Graham include more romance than I am comfortable with. But this book was a breath of fresh air...it was entertaining, plus it included so much about history. Really a first hand look at how the colonists must have lived, and what they must have faced in their lives. But, it was well balanced.... I really enjoyed it from the beginning to the end!
Avid reader and listener. Especially (but not just) urban fantasy and romance
It took quite some effort on my part to finish this audio-book. I did like the premise but was disappointed by the novel itself. It felt like the writer was trying too hard, the romance between the main characters just was not there.. and the narrator was bad.. The main character, Melody, was quite annoying and honestly, she seemed a bit daft.
If you suspend any thought of reality, it is a fun concept, especially how a 1770's mind might veiw a 21st century world. Wish there had been more of that.
"A Christmas Tale"
This book was obviously published for the Christmas market, which means the story content is light. However it was a very enjoyable tale and it made me smile and chuckle. It was well worth the money.
