After 140+ Audibles, I felt compelled to write my first review of a book in order to save someone else from my mistake. The premise of this book isn't bad: FBI agent commandeers a civillian vehicle in an emergency, harrowing chase scene, falls in love with girl driver, blah, blah, blah. I love a sappy Romance as much as the next girl, but this was even too much for me (and I'm not that picky). The characters are wishy-washy and immature, the FBI agent does NOTHING allowable to the FBI, the relationships among main characters are unbelievable, the plot twists are unbelievable and on and on and on. The whole thing was just dumb. I listened to the whole torturous thing hoping it would get better, but sadly, I not only wasted my credit but 13 hours of my life! Sometimes I buy a book even with unflattering reviews because I think, "surely it can't be THAT bad." Well, this book is. So, don't do it!! Just go back to browsing and try something else.
Humm, I have not listened to the entire book.....I am really trying! It seems soooo corny so far. I don't know if I am going to be able to finish it. I hate to waste my money or credits.
