Somewhat because at times he speaks with an accent that sounds fairly accurate.

Where does Highlander Untamed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

it is so hard to rank any of the audiobooks...they are all so wonderful..if they were not, i would not listen to them!!!

What other book might you compare Highlander Untamed to and why?

I would compare the book and the narrator to the Karen Marie Moning "highlander"series...Though Monica McCarty's highlanders do not time travel...both are a wonder read and the narrators rocks!

Yes it made me both laugh and cry...great job to the author and the narrator for bringing the characters to life...

Antony did a fabulous job narrating this and the other books...love the highlander voice...made my heart beat a little faster...Watch out Phil (narrator for Karen Maire Moning "Highlander" series)...lol!

Good Story

A little too many, and enduring sex scenes in my opinion, but it had a good story line, which included: Clan feuds, King interference, Scottish hand-fast marriages, treacheries, etc.

It was well narrated by Antony Ferguson, although at times he forgot the Scottish brogue...the reason for only 4 Stars. He has a voice that is easy to listen to, and gave a good performance over-all.

It was worth the sale price, but don't know about spending a credit for it???

highland books are great.

I live Monica's books I discovered her writings by accident at the library. And since then I have loved her writing.

A So So Highland Heat

The premise of the story is fine. And it's been done before. I think the story was drawn out too much. This romance is brought to life by Rory and Isabella and it does pull you into the story. I'll probably take a chance on book two hoping the pace is picked up. I think because the author wants to drawn on as much of the historical period of the times that leaves me not really wanting much more. Steamy highland romance not really.

What did you love best about Highlander Untamed?

The intense relationship between Rory and Isabel. I fell in love with them being together. It wasn't an easy journey, which is what makes it so much more delicious when the do fall in love.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Highlander Untamed?

When Rory thinks she is betraying him....his reaction and her's made me actually tear up! So wonderful! I was so emotional for both of them!

Which scene was your favorite?

When Isobel sneaks back in to the castle and runs into Rory.... love!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

An epic love story between enemies.

Antony Ferguson has the hottest Highlander voice ever!!!

Narration was a bit distracting

What did you love best about Highlander Untamed?

I enjoy this genre. This book was in keeping with what I was expecting.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rory. I liked his honesty and that he didn't just cave to the femine character from the get go.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narration was often clipped in my opinion. I found it to be distracting to the story, however not so much so to cause me to give up on the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't feel the need to put off doing what i needed to do just so i could get back to this book, but could have enjoyed listened all in one sitting if the opportunity presented, such as a long drive.

monica mccarty is a great writer. she cpmbines history and fiction so seamlessly. i cant wait to read the next

The staccato style of this narrator was very irritating. I wish I could listen to more of these books, but I can't listen to more of his machine-gun style of delivery.
