Hostage negotiator, Phoebe MacNamara is called to the roof of an apartment to stop a jumper. That is where she meets Duncan Swift. He is impressed by her sense of purpose as well as her looks and can't get her out of his mind. I have read this book several times as I love Duncan Swift. This time I listened to it on audio. Loved that too.

As usual this book is wonderful and I love listening to Susan Ericksen!!! They rock!

High Noon

This was the same story line as written by her other authors name she uses. I lost interest in the beginning and never got back into the story.

it is a must listen. it took a couple turns i didn't expect. the book kept me busy on the long drives

High Noon a Good Reading Experience

I enjoyed the book, just thought it strange how they tried to tie the story to the movie. Liked the Chicago setting.

Loved it so much it drew me in and kept me hooked until the very end.

A little slow but packed a punch.

I know it’s the style of writing that we usually get from Nora, the story is like I said a little slow at times but when the action picks up it is thrilling and makes it almost impossible to put it down. The slow parts are packed with conversations and emotions that makes the characters come alive. All in all I highly recommend this book and I will definitely be back for a reread.
