Mid 30's lady looking for sometimes intriguing, sometimes pragmatic fiction & nonfiction while being terrorized by her dictator cat, Shirley Mao.
The female character is whiney and sooo not funny, the vampire has a stereo-typical transilvanian accent and the whole story is about as interesting as a bucket of warm spit. move on to something, try patricia briggs, now that woman can write!
-just wish I had known that before I wasted a credit! To be fair, I only got about an hour into the book before I just couldn't take the accents any longer, so I don't know if the story improved or stayed blah.
I was not sure I would like vampire/were book due to some of the reviews on Amazon but it has become one of my favorites. Hauf who is a new author to me does a wonderful job combining romance between two people who consider the other an enemy. It was a very sweet intense book. I listened to this at work and found myself laughing out loud at so many parts. Thanks Audible
