Great

Great story and wonderful narration. It's good to hear a book that has people with flaws.

Missed it's potential😕

Good book but could have been so much better. It lacked the necessary input. Very short.

Clan Grant could be the next Outlander series!

Breena and Quades story is exciting. It has suspense, sexual tension, anger and laughter.

Breena is kidnapped because her reputation as a healer has spread around the highlands and Quade needs her healing skills and his brother, Logan doesn't think he has time to take the long way around by getting her brother's permission to take her.
Join their travels and see why the Clan Grant series is so awesome! Antony Ferguson has the most yummy Scottish accent and he is a wonderful narrator.

Writing and Narrator ruined it for me

I love these Highland romance novels because they relax me. If they’re descriptive/well written and narrated I can really lose myself in them. So, a dreadful narrator and mediocre writing can ruin the way I experience a novel.

There was a lack of depth in the writing that I just can’t put my finger on. There wasn’t one description of the castle or the grounds/the character’s surroundings. There was barely even a description of the characters themselves.

The narration was similarly lacking in emotion and depth. It was monotonous and brought to mind the way a grammar school child sounds when made to read out loud in front of a classroom.

I’m going to give this series one more chance and try to listen to the next book. If all is the same then it’s going right back to Audible.

awesome book

Would you listen to Healing a Highlander's Heart again? Why?

yes, it is very engaging with love and loss. Fascinating details about the healers abilities and what it was like to live without antibiotics.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Alex and Brodie Grant and Logan Ramsay because they epitomize the masculine model of HOT hunk, wonderful husbands, fathers, brothers, uncles etc.

What about Antony Ferguson’s performance did you like?

He is an awesome narrator for any Scottish accent, simply tops.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were more than I can even name, used my box of tissues repeatedly.

Any additional comments?

Keira Montclair is fast becoming one of my favorite story tellers!!!

Story didn't do the narrator justice

It was a struggle to get through! The storyline was poorly written, lacked content and honestly felt like a high schooler wrote it. Antony Ferguson is a great narrator who I love listening to when it comes to Scottish romances so that's what made me download this book. But it was one of the worst romance books I've read.

Disappointed

It started off with a unique twist for the story line, however the rest was not so great. Very very predictable back and forth with hero heroine. Predictable can be good at times if it’s interesting. This banter was so cheesy. The love scenes so so, nothing earth shattering.
C at best.
