She spends her nights treating patients, but Dr. Jocelyn Drake's own wounds are unfixable. Her ex-husband and his younger, bouncier girlfriend work just a few floors away at Tulane Medical Center, and they serve as a constant reminder of what Joss lost. But a fierce determination to continue her research project and a shred of remaining pride keep Joss from transferring out of the Big Easy.
Carson Stephens recently returned from a tour of duty in the Middle East, and though willing women present themselves at every turn, his closest companion is loneliness. His night-shift work supervising the electrical and mechanical systems at the hospital is a perfect fit - it's solitary work putting broken things back together.
When the electrical system on Joss' floor goes haywire, she's frazzled by the sexy electrician who sparks her dormant sex drive. He's brooding and cocky - so not her type. But if Carson has his way, his hands will work their magic on more than just the wiring, and he'll show Joss a night of passion that restores her shattered confidence.

It's great. It's signature Brenda Rothert, so, swoony and romantic, but definitely steamy. I really enjoyed it.
I like Joss a lot, as well as her best friend. They are just great.
Yes, several, and they are always awesome. Healing Touch was no different.
I enjoyed the whole book, and found myself smiling a lot.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Healing Touch, and would definitely recommend it.
Yes, really enjoyed this, was actually my first audiobook that I lasted more than 15 minutes, was great for my drive this morning, perfect length and loved that it was alternating POV, so the narrators alternated keeping me engaged in listening to the story while I drove
I really loved them both, hearing them rather than reading them, made me connect so much quicker to the characters. I really loved Jos' character, she was so funny at times, kept me giggling with all her internal monalogue
I loved that change in their voices, especially when it was parts being spoken by other characters, they changed their tone to show it was someone else but it also didn't sound weird or off.
The moment he kissed her the first time, I really could feel her reaction she had to just a simple kiss in a very simple place, hearing her tone at that moment made me feel like it was really happening, gave me goosebumps
Was a really great quick story to listen to, perfect to liven up my long drive this morning. The author did a great job picking the perfect voices for these characters.
Healing Touch was waay too short! I wanted more of Joss and Carson and their beautiful chemistry. The narrators were enjoyable and easy to listen to. I loved every minute of this audiobook. I need more, please!!
coffee addicted, book reading, movie watching, music listening, wannabe mermaid.
yes, absolutely! it was a quick, fun listen!
everything! the characters are so easily to love & I enjoyed their short story immensely!
all of Brenda Rothert's characters! they bring them to life with such style & excellence!
yes! definitely! even if it was a full length novel & not a short story, I'd still sit and listen all at once!
super awesome & amazing read as well as a listen!
Definitely, any book this author writes that is narrated by Kirsten and Chris is a winning combination.
I loved the two main characters. Joss is blossoming again after the incredible hurtful betrayal by the man that was her husband, she still has insecurities that a are making her doubt herself and her true beauty. Carson, comes into her life when she least expected it to show her that she's still beautiful inside and out and worth it.
Any character these two great narrators do is my favorite. As a matter of fact all books in my Audible library are narrated by them. Love them!
Yes, I listened to it in one sitting, could not put it down.
Brenda + Kirsten + Chris = Winning Combo <3
