awesome book
very well written kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the story. although I don't recommend listening to it with windows down in car during the steamy bits. loved it and will definitely be buying the next book in series to see what trouble Kat finds herself in next.

Fun Vampire Read for Young Adults
Fun YA vampire story. Great narrator for this book and different voices are consistently assigned to various characters. However, I do agree with other reviewer that Bone's voice can be more manly and sexier. I would read Book2 to find out how Bones came back to Cat's life, and go from there.

More Than Halfway Amazing!
This is one of the most amazing beginnings to a paranormal world. It's going on my favorites shelf! I'd read the book before listening to it, and definitely preferred the audiobook.

Good Read
It's takes a while to get use to Bones' accent but it's a good read. The reader is very convincing as Kat and she pulls you in with her humor. Also, the sex scenes are fairly descriptive so listen at your own dirty risk (;

Starts with a Bang, but leads to a Fizzle...
Let me start by saying this -- if you're looking for an action book with a little erotica thrown in, then this is definitely your choice; however, if you're like me and want a lot of erotica with a little action thrown in....this probably isn't for you. Don't get me wrong though, I still loved this book, but I wanted more from the main characters. Cat and Bones have fantastic chemistry, and when they finally go all the way, it leaves you wanting more. The problem is, after the first time, the author fails to elaborate on anything physical between the characters. It becomes a mention. Let's be honest....we want to hear all the details! We don't just want to know that they had sex. Am I right?
Tavia's performance is extremely memorable. She gives every character a distinct voice and puts so much emotion into her reading. It was a little difficult to get use to immediately, but after the first chapter, you'll start to really like it.

Love this book and narrarator!
Tavia Gilbert reads this series beautifully! She is the most talented Narrator out there. Every character has such a unique voice and the feeling comes through. This book I have have read/listened to so many times, it's one of my favorites. Vampires, supernatural beings, superb romance, fantasy, and action story! Great fun, Jeaniene Frost is a wonderful writer!
