Grounded, Book 3 in the Up In The Air Trilogy. James and Bianca's story draws to a close in the explosive conclusion to the Up In The Air Trilogy. After a short but earnest courtship, Bianca can no longer deny her feelings for James, and though she's tried her hardest, she can't help but see that he cares deeply for her, as well. In a completely uncharacteristic move, she has put aside her misgivings and agreed to live with the enigmatic billionaire.
Is her leap of faith the beginning of something wonderful, or is it too much, too fast? As James and Bianca feel a growing need for each other that neither can deny, circumstances beyond their control intervene, trying to tear them apart. Amid the ever mounting threat of a monster who wants Bianca dead, and the constant pitfalls of an indiscreet past that James can't seem to escape, can these two passionate lovers manage to find their happily ever after?

Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
Wow - all i can say is I LOVED this 3rd and final book in this Amazingly Heart Pulling Story. It has absolutely everything once could desire - depth, angst, love, growth, acceptance, intrigue, horror, damage, blood, chaos, pain, suffering and almost death. Plus.... Devilishly yummy BDSM & even M/M. This was the perfect conclusion to this fabulous trilogy and i am sad the story is over. Elizabeth Powers done an immaculate job bringing all the wonderful characters to life threw-out and i give high praise to her magical voice changing skills.... :)
James "Beautiful" Cavendish
If I told you that, I'd be giving things away. You must read this book and series, I absolutely LOVED it!!
I've listened to her during this whole series, she is the best narrator I've listened to on Audible! Hands down!
Come fly the friendly skies!
Kicking myself for waiting so long to listen to this series, MUST READ/LISTEN!
I am a lover of books. I enjoy losing myself in a fabulous romance and great story plot.
I finished this book yesterday and I just can't stop thinking about it. R.K. Lilley used a familiar theme (the DOM Billionaire tamed by love) and made it something unique, something memorable, and something touching. This book really compliments the first book well. In that, if you start reading the first book again, after this one, it's evident that James's pursuit of Bianca was singular, and he pretty much loved her from the moment he laid eyes on her.
As James and Bianca settle into their relationship, James is the one who doesn't change much from the beginning of the series. He continues to work toward a goal that puts Bianca in his life forever. OMG, how do I love that kind of romance!!!!
Part of the drama that ensues is from the worst kind of women, from his past, who start coming out of the wood work, but this book really settled the fact of how they were nothing to him. By the way, I LOVED how Bianca dealt with all the women who tried to ruin her relationship with James…I loved Bianca's spunk & well, she's just awesome…haha
James and Bianca have given me the best perspective of how a BDSM relationship works for two people who really desire that pain/pleasure aspect of intercourse. Yet, their relationship is far from defined by this preference in the bedroom, these two people adore each other, love deeply and share an effortless calm and serenity when in each other's company that feels real and beautiful. I was never disappointed with James…from the tender lover to the stark DOM, to the ravishing kindness and love he showered Bianca with during their everyday lives…he was simply perfection (even when he was mad). And, Bianca, well, you just can't get a more beautiful heroine, inside and out.
In terms of major themes in this series, Lilley did something very original. Her focus was on relationships, of course the one between James and Bianca was centerfold, but she also did an incredible job in developing the beautiful relationship between Bianca and Stephan and the rest of the friends in this book. During the most turbulent parts, my heart was racing and I felt on edge, but the ending was very true to the characters and gave them all a life they all deserved. I don't want to spill ANY details, because this book has to be experienced. I do want more though…..I felt like it finished and I want, well, at least a little more……
10 STARS FOR AN EXCELLENT SERIES THAT HAD ME CAPTIVATED AND ENTHRALLED!!!
Narrator- Elizabeth Powers was excellent and enhanced this audiobook experience as well as the author's writing talent. Excellent pairing---Lilley and Powers…fabulous!
This was a great ending to this series; it was emotional, and heart-wrenching. R.K. Lilley can do no wrong in my eyes! I love her writing style, and the characters she's created. All I want when I think of this series and the books/trilogies connected to this one, is MORE, MORE, MORE! Definitely credit worthy, and highly recommended.
I want him!
So much drama, passion, and OMG hot smex!
I was on the edge of my seat through most of it. Not going to give any spoilers so download and start listening.
I love how the writer tells you how they r doing even several years later
When they finally say "I love you", seemed like it took forever!
Loved the emotion she put into the reading
Elizabeth Powers is my all time favorite narrator!!!! This series is amazing and I fell in love with each character.
Story is great and well written. I've already purchased 5 more audible books by R. k. Lilly to listen to.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I love Elizabeth Powers' voice throughout the performance, and found myself enjoying the audio as much, if not more so, than reading the book alone. This series is one of my all time favorites, but the positive, up-beat pitch in Powers' performance really pushed it over the top for me.
James and Bianca are two of my favorite characters, and their story is so arresting. I have read this series numerous times, and I still fall in love with them each and every read through.
Story went from bad in book 2 to downright stupid in book 3. Big mistake to buy all three books at the same time as I did. Although book one was not original, it was at least entertaining. Starting book 2 and now extensively in book 3, the hero's character goes from a man to the person who's lines are much better suited to a woman. He CRIES as she accepts his proposal and she was just happy? Huh? And the feud between two friends now turned bitter enemies is resolved in 2.5 seconds?????? The story was painful to listen to. With his tears and need for constant reassurance I wondered if somewhere in the book he lost his balls and turned into a woman without any of us knowing. R. K. Likely seemed to want to try hard to have James say what she thought any woman would like to hear and be treated except it was so much that it was completely sappy and uninteresting and unbelievable. Nothing real about the interactions even for a romance novel. I'm just so relieved that in this book he finally earned his "red wings" NOT
Take your credit and run

Maybe just because isn't that good quality I'm used to or the download got a little bumpy!
The relationship around the main characters and the behind story and plot
More enthusiasm to continue reading, the story dragged it self the first 20 chapters
Mr. Chapter titles are back.
An insight around all Mr. Cavendish moods! How many moods can a guy have? :)
We are back in to the story right at the time we left it. In the next 20 chapters I admit, I was a little bored.
OK there were times I wanted to learn more about their stories, their reactions, decisions... I knew where all that was coming from, but planes, work, trips back and forth, going to shower, putting make up, having a nap, what she was wearing, what they eat, drink, sleep, nightmares, worries, fights, leaving things unsaid I just wanted to move on!!!
Don't know why this was all boring for me this time... Maybe I'll re read it in a better mood!
I love what a book can do to you, angst, worries, cries, laughs, but in this case it was slow, I wanted to go where all the action was! Didn't feel the appeal...
Well, let me focus, sex was fun in all places we can imagine, more BD than SM, the more comfortable side... can a Dom fall in love?
Quite an inventive mind this author has... possible and impossible sex scenes at possible or impossible places! That was great, however, that sadistic side of James made me want to punish him!
Maybe Mr. Sadistic would wake me up a little bit, to continue reading.
All in all the more they love each other, more boundaries would be broken and the Dom was only Master of the body...
Liked the scarf scene and the pool party a lot, what a great crew, so cool!
Disliked the piercing moment, in James's eyes she was perfect so why the need of wrecking that perfection...
Not so spectacular relationship... not like I used to like in the other books and many POVs kept me way from track, for a bit.
Besides that, I liked Stephan side of the story. And definitely want to know more about Tristan and Danika, Frankie and Lana of course!
The story was rushed at the end if I knew, I would start of at chapter 27 :( switched to audible at that time... I was tired to read it... didn't need to be that dramatic and didn't like the way James handled it! Too superficial.
Healing the past and learning to trust, signs of hope.... although most of the bumps in this road... I enjoyed this journey.
