Conall Víga-Feilan, direct descendent of Viking shifters, never thought that he'd meet a female strong enough to be his mate. He especially didn't think that a short, viper-tongued human would ever fit the bill. But Miki Kendrick isn't some average human. With an IQ off the charts and a special skill with weapons of all kinds, Miki brings the big blond pooch to his knees - and keeps him there.
Miki's way too smart to ever believe in love, and she knows that a guy like Conall could only want one thing from her. But with the Pack's enemies on her tail and a few days stuck alone with the one man who makes her absolutely wild, Miki is about to discover how persistent one Viking wolf can be.

"Laurenston bowls a strike once again with her sequel to Pack Challenge." (RT Book Reviews)
I strive to give unflinchingly objective detailed reviews so you don't need to waste your time and money, unnecessarily, on mediocre titles.
More fun from Shelly Laurenston, and a look at the pack that Blaine's father left years ago.
This series brings in old friends from Shelly's main series and is as much fun to read as the rest of her work.
This book features Micki, a highly intelligent woman who has lived life based on choices with maximum stability and minimal chance of heart break. She is forced to partner with a powerful and stubborn wolf with the genetics of those who fought against unfavorable odds and stubborn people and won. Immovable object meets irresistible wolf.
The sex is frequent and life-changing, but Micki achieves her life goal and gains a life with a Viking wolf shifter that she never knew was possible, a respectful relationship of equals.
They earn their HEA, enemies in the shadows with unknown motivations and no intention of taking prisoners. Who knew getting your PhD required so many rounds of ammo and mysterious incendiary liquids that sound like Greek fire?
Definitely credit worthy, and I hope the next books show up before the year 2200. I'm enjoying this series a lot!
I thoroughly enjoy urban fantasy sprinkled with humor and a little romance. These stories, otherwise good and humorous, focus very heavily on sex.
As usual Shelly writes a delightfully fun and sexy story with a good crisp pace. The narration was the best I have ever heard, and I listen to many books while driving. More Please!!!!!!!!
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
I liked this book better than the first Magnus book. If you like Shelly Laurenston you know she holds nothing back with all of her friendships, they are more like real life than most I have read about. This time we have Mickey and Connel and the sparks are flying with this hot romance. Mickey find herself in trouble and Connel insist on helping her by tagging along after her. The problem is that Mickey doesn't want him there, so she devises schemes to get rid of him. Unfortunately not all work out as planned, none in fact, but it was a fun ride. Irene and her family the Van Holts also star in this book and it was good to see them after a time, and to see the family growing. Mickey can be a bitch sometimes, but really she fits in the pack just perfect in that case. I will be getting the last book in this series. Narrator is pretty good.
This author has got to be one of the years best written story tellers. Out there.
I love Shelly Laurenston 's work, it always entertains! I can not wait for the next book to come out in audio and truly hope it will be available soon. this is one author I will always enjoy reading again and again and the narrator is great so listening again and again is definitely a good way to spend my time when I'm on the go.
I am a big fan of Shelly Laurenston and have almost all of her audio and written books. I couldn't wait to hear the audio version of this second book in the Magnus Pack series. But, I was not to happy with the narrator. There was almost no variations between the male or female ,voices. This is the story about two of my favorite characters. Niki a human and best friend to the mate of the werewolves pack alpha and Conall the pack beta. This book is well written and hilarious from beginning to end. If, you like sexy fighting shifters, romance, friendship and family you will like this book. Bring on the audio version of the third book "Here, Kitty, Kitty" please! Also, get different narrator.
Awesome lead characters! Great storyline & plot as well as character development. The narrator did a fantastic job! Looking forward to book 3 coming out in the Magnus series!!!
