Oh my gosh yes I would. Why? If you need a serious pick you up , gut busting funny laugh yourself silly kind of book this would be the go to one.

The other has another series of books Literal Leigh Series and Gertie is in them and they are also gut busting funny

Hollie Jackson is truly wonderful in this book I loved the German talk she did for Gerties boyfriend Brad

it made me smile, laugh, giggle I am sure people thought I was nuts as I was driving while listening

Fantastic book !!

Hilarious read

I couldn't stop listening to it. I was hooked from the first sentence on! I don't know if it was the accent of the reader, or the story, the characters, or just everything flowed just perfectly. I laughed throughout this story and can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Entertaining!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this hilarious paranormal suspense story. Gertie naivety was truly trying…and it got her into so much trouble. You just have to shake your head and wonder how anyone could be so clueless. I enjoyed listening to the narrator bring this story to life. She did a great job. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in this hilarious series.

It made me laugh my ass off in fact I had to stop listening in the car at one point I was laughing so hard I was afraid I'd wreck

The book itself.. I read the book first than listened to it.. Both ways are great but love to hear how Hollie would read the book..

The action after she takes the supposed birth control pill... Poor Brad didnt know what to think.. Dont want to give to much away...

Yes how could you not.. It is so funny and I couldn't wait to figure what happened next...

Funny paranormal comedy and I loved the narrator accent. I will check out the next in series

Fun & Fluffy Magical Hijinks

Gertie is a witch out of time. After being "frozen" for 100 years for bad behavior, she's now out and about as the most out-of-date, naive, bubbling but hilarious protagonist you'll ever find in the South (or anywhere else!). The entire book is fluff and fun so look out for some funny bad guys who are almost as clueless as our heroes. Thanks to Audiobooks Unleashed for the listen!

It is hilarious and one of the best I have read in this genre.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how candid the dialog was without worrying about censorship.

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

The narration is excellent. When I first started I wasn't sure I could follow the dialog with the very heavy accent. But once I got used to it I thoroughly loved Gertie's accent. I especially liked how well Hollie Jackson timed all the emotions and humor just right. It made me fall in love with all of the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Be prepared to literally laugh out loud.

I wasn't sure about getting this book until I read the reviews. They convinced me and their reviews were spot on. It was a delightful book and I loved that it was short but also wanted to read more, if that makes sense. I love this book but realize that it isn't for everyone because of how open the dialog was and the descriptions of everything in an interesting way and very descriptive....those made me laugh a lot. It isn't a good book for readers who are prudish for sure. I worry that is some of those write a review it will scare others away from a delightful book.

did not think i was going to like it but

the sex scenes to long wish cut it down a bit funny full of puns light easy fast great for a laugh when is the next one coming out

I had to turn it off so I could quit cry laughing!

I'm not sure I would recommend driving while listening to this book. I was laughing so hard tears were clouding up my vision. I had to turn the book off so I could regain control of myself. I had to do that 3, yes 3 times during the book. You know it is coming but the way it is written you'll still laugh your a** off. The banana scene is just one example. It was just what I needed to get me out of my funk I was in at that time. Loved it!!!
