I paid the full price for this audiobook and it's quite frustrating when you feel you've wasted your money because of the reader. I had a difficult time focusing on what was being read, therefore, missing the plot because Kellie Kamryn heavily accents every third or fourth word (loudly). It was difficult for me to adjust the volume at a consistent and comfortable level because of it. I know this sounds picky but, honestly it was the biggest distraction I've ever heard in an audiobook and I've been listening to them for many years. I couldn't finish this book. As I said before, wasted money.
The book itself is great, and the narrator is okay, but this is NOT a new digital recording. Judging by the almost constant background hum and other occasional noises, I'm guessing this was sourced from an old cassette recording.
