In a relationship built on lies...the only truth is their feelings for each other.
In Game for Love, by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Bella Andre, to fulfill his grandmother's dying wish, linebacker Cole Taylor must find and marry a good girl. First grade teacher Anna Davis fits the bill perfectly. Their deal is simple: If she'll be his temporary wife, he'll give her more pleasure than she ever imagined was possible.
Only, love is the ultimate game-changer.

It's all about romance in my library! I have a wonderful husband, children and my grandchildren they are my rock.
Too many sex scene, not enough of the story line. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate sex scene but come on, let get to the plot of the story.
I love Bella Andre's love stories they are so romantic. But this was so disappointing to me. The story line was good but it could have been better.
Eva always reads Bella's story. We need to change the narrator, I keep thinking I'm listening to the Sullivan's books.
Cut the sex scene in half and give more of the story. I love the characters in the story it was cute.
The story in Game for Love was a cute (but highly unbelievable) tale of a good girl school teacher who was frustrated at being the only one of her sisters not married or even in a relationship, and a playboy football player whose dying grandmother wanted to see him settled down with a wife and kids before she died. Of course they meet in a bar and end up married that same night. To really enjoy this book, you have to be in the mood to read or listen to graphic descriptions of sexual acts, which seemed rather overdone to me. The two main characters are likeable and the story isn't bad. Just be aware of the content before you start the book and you'll enjoy it.

What I liked about the novel.....
I thought this was a good love story of Anna Davis and Cole Taylor and you will find once you start reading it you will not want to put it down until the end. The main part of this storyline was of Cole's who was a football player's dying grandmother wanting to see him married and settled down with a 'good girl.' How was Cole to make that happen when he date everything but 'good girls'? For Anna who had been in Vegas for his sister's wedding seemed to the odd girl in the family...being boring as oh yes very predicable. What will she do to break out of this shell that she seems to be in? Well she meets Cole and this is where this story take off. Is this the 'good girl' that Cole needs to help him pull of this situation for his grandmother? What will happen as Anna finds out more about Cole as they will be united in Holy Matrimony? Will this marriage last since it looks like this is a marriage of convenience? There will be a lots going on in this read for these two as they bring in their family and friends into their situation. You will just have to pick up this good read to see for yourself how this author will bring out "Game For Love" to the readers. It will a very interesting read seeing how these two will break down their walls with each other. I found the read a sweet , humorous read and also I do not want to fail to mention the hot steamy sex scenes that seem to explode off the pages.
Would I recommend? Yes, this is another one of this author's good love stories!
Time spent commuting passes by much easier listening to books. I prefer romance books but I do enjoy other books as well.
Not really too much to say about this book other than it was ok. I wasn't really crazy about the premise of the story in the first place. It was really unbelievable to to me. I gave it 3 stars because I didn't hate it though.
I just couldn't get to a point where I really cared about the H&H. He was kind of an ass and she was weak.
The sex was good. Considering that's really all they had going for them from the start, it should be good though.
The narrator: was ok. Her male voices were somewhat unnatural but not terrible. I'm pretty neutral where she's concerned.
Reader - Writer - KnitterLove romance, mysteries, suspenseful stories with great characters. Especially enjoy series.
I enjoyed this book as much as Bella Andre's other books. This is book one in the Bad Boys of Football Series. Alas the rest of the series is not available on Audible. I hope this changes.
