By day Alyssa was a cool, controlled mathematical whiz, sorting through facts and figures. By night it was a different story. At night she became a creature of beauty and passion who was more than a match for Jordan. But were Jordan's seductive caresses enough for Alyssa to take a chance on a future together? Only time would tell.

I found this book very interesting. There was great chemistry between the male and female lead. Although there was romance, I also found several of the scenes hilarious. I haven't LOL from an audio in awhile. I highly recommend.
Awful. Not a romance. More a story of rape and a woman I hope only exist in the authors silly mind.
I barely finished this book and am sorry I wasted my time. This is the worst kind of romance novel. No plot at all, just "Should I love him? No I shouldn't. Hmm, maybe I should. No I really shouldn't." Even worse is when he shows up on her doorstep after one weekend together and tells her he wants to beat her for changing their plans to meet a second time. Why would she accept that?
I would love to give this 0 stars.
Of the 20-25 books I have read by Jayne Ann Krentz, this had the least developed plot of all. It could have passed for a short story except for all the detailed sexual activity which took up a great deal of the book. Since I have read and enjoyed so many of her books, I obviously enjoy her story-telling. But I would never have guessed that this was written by her if I had not known who the author was.
This is an oldfashioned romance novel. Don't waste your time. There are too many good books out there to spend time on this one.
I think sometimes people click "unhelpful" when they mean "I disagree". Can there be an agree/ disagree button next to the helpful option?
If you want to listen to the story of a sweet little career girl who meets a dangerous sociopath and lives (I kid you not) happily submissive ever after, go ahead. But I recommend you keep it away from your daughter. I gave it three stars because it was shockingly sexist enough to be fascinating. My mouth is still hanging open at the 'you gotta be kidding me' ending. Enjoy!
