Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Sylvain Reynard comes the first novel in the Gabriel's Inferno series, a haunting, unforgettable tale of one man’s salvation and one woman’s sensual awakening - now a film from Passionflix!

Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well-respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption.

When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.

An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love, and redemption, Gabriel’s Inferno is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man’s escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible - forgiveness and love.

Wonderful book!!!

What did you like about this audiobook?

The love story!!!!

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Gabriel of course!!!! I am in love with this man!

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

I couldn't put the book down. It is the romance that does it for me....the tender moments. Absolutely breathtaking.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Nothing at all!!!!

Do you have any additional comments?

This is the most romantic book I have ever read......couldn't wait to start the second book. My only disappointment is there is not a third book. I want a third book!!!

Angst Perfection!

I didn’t read reviews prior to picking this audio, so I don’t know what others have said or thought, but I really enjoyed this story. The love was deep but then the anger and the frustration was there as well. Beautifully written, and beautifully told. Perfection!

Gabriel’s Inferno is a triumph

This audiobook transports the listener to a sensory experience of a story of love, longing, beauty, human failings, and resilience-born growth. My new all-time favorite series is told compellingly by the talented and sensual John Morgan. Thank you, Margarita Gurri, PhD

I don't understand the hype

Would you try another book from Sylvain Reynard and/or John Morgan?

No for the author, yes for the narrator.

Would you ever listen to anything by Sylvain Reynard again?

Yes

Which scene was your favorite?

None

Do you think Gabriel's Inferno needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. I just don't understand how this book received so many positive reviews. Okay, I understand that there isn't a book for everyone. That being said, he treated her as his daughter. Yuck! Could not finish it.

Amazing book, amazing narration

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It's a wonderful love story filled with romance, heartache and beautiful words.

Which scene was your favorite?

The final chapter in Italy. The ENTIRE chapter is fantastic.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh, and cry. The way Gabriel speaks is remarkable and refreshing. Take note authors, it is possible to make an extremely sexy romantic novel without trashy language.

Any additional comments?

This book and it's sequel shouldn't be missed!

Perfect combination - the best Author and the best Narrator

When I read the book, from the very first word I was captivated. The storyline and characters drew me in and became a part of me that I can’t let go. Listening to the audio enhances this experience even more. I felt like I was right there in the story. I will definitely be re-listening to the audios in this series.

Stupid Story

What did you like best about Gabriel's Inferno? What did you like least?

Least--the story is shallow and boring.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Probably a non-harlaquin romance novel. I need something with depth.

Was Gabriel's Inferno worth the listening time?

Not really.
