A reviewer at Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I don't go anywhere without a book -ebook or audiobook.
This novella revisits Grace and Andrew from book one. Though short, it's still full of romance. Another tender book, the characters struggle with past loss, forgiveness and moving forward. It is filled with hope, but based in reality so the characters feel authentic. Add in the well done naration and this is a beautiful short story about characters I've already fell in love with. A must read for series fans.
I review for Guilty Indulgence Reviews.
This story by Kim Loraine was so good and realistic. I loved how the author was able to make the insecurities and emotions feel real. The narrator was new on this book and did an excellent job. This story is part of a series and yet a standalone. I enjoy having characters from previous books be mentioned in this one, yet not center stage. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. This particular book is a novella, which is much shorter than the previous books by the author.
What a rollercoaster of emotions I felt in this book. I was excited to see this novella taking us back to Grace and Drew, who I fell in love with in Restoration, but OMG!!! I could have strangled Drew!!
I understand he was under an undue amount of stress with the expansion, the pregnancy, his birthmother, and having to deal with Susan, BUT his actions had my heart beating wildly, my fists clenched, and an emotional lump clogging my throat with tears threatening! My heart broke for Grace, what she was feeling and the emotions she went through. I know some of the blame could fall to Grace but nowhere near half of it-that lay with Drew. Without going into details or anymore of the storyline, I thought everything came about smoothly.
Yet again, Kim Loraine gives us an emotionally, beautiful tale you will fall in love with. You need to read this series, I know you will fall in love with the characters just like I have.
Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. - Plato
This is a continuation story. I recommend reading "Restoration" before this book.
The two main characters, Grace & Drew, are married and trying to start their new life together. There is a lot of drama and misunderstanding between them.
Narration was good. Things almost get out of control before they improve. I can't believe how awful Sarah is! Unbelievable!!!

This is like seeing a friend you haven't seen in a long time and picking up where you left off. I love this series that Kim Loraine has written. Drew and Grace are finally married and expecting twins. Grace has found Drew's biological mother, much to Drew's dismay and this has put a wedge between them. Now with the expansion of the grocery, Grace's high risk pregnancy and the return of Sarah, there is much turmoil in their lives. Will their marriage survive? I am not telling, but this is definitely worth the listen.
Sophie King is an incredible narrator. I love her voice, giving each character their own picture in my mind. Her accent for Drew is drool worthy...love to hear him speak!
Love books. Can get lost in them and spend hours there.
Good story. I enjoyed this storyline it made me smile and cry. Can't wait to hear more from this author.

This is a continuation from "Restoration." Drew and Grace are married and expecting. They face many challenges from, Drew facing his birth mother, business expansion, health issues, to a vindictive ex-wife. They must get through these challenges or give it all up. Lots of drama in this romance, but some sweet moments too.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I'm already getting so invested in these characters and the world of Golden Beach that I was very pleased to see there was a novella to help fill in some of the blanks for the newlyweds. Book 1 left me wanting more from this couple and this helped me get my fix. I hope they continue to make appearances in the remaining books in the series. It was also great that they had the narrator from the first book that performed this couples original story return to perform this novella. I love when they switch narrators in a series when there are different characters, but return the performers who have already performed specific characters. It's less confusing and more enjoyable, and helps to keep the flow. If you haven't started this series yet, I highly recommend it.
I've rarely met an audio book I didnt like. I love rom-com, cozy murder mystery, and self-help.
I absolutely. Love this series and the narration! I'm so hooked on this story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher
