Alexis Conner, princess of the Alpine pack and pureblood werewolf, hides a painful secret - she has never shifted. If she can't shift, she can't mate, and so Lexi resigned herself to a lifetime of loneliness. But then a stranger arrives, and Lexi senses that her world will never be the same….
A massive avalanche might be to blame for Trystan Hawkes getting stuck at Castle Wulfsiege, but after one look at Lexi, Trystan is not about to leave. Lexi is strong, smart and incredibly sexy. Not that it matters. Tryst is an omega - the fabled lone wolf. Even more damning is his mixed vampire heritage.
Lexi knows that the vampire blood running through Tryst's veins makes him off-limits, but what if he's the one man who can rouse her inner wolf?

I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
Firstly this is TWO books in one Part 1 is Forever Werewolf 7.47 hrs and Part 2 is Moon Kissed 8.14 hrs so let me review in turn.
Forever Werewolf - an interesting enough story but I didn't like the narrator's voice particularly that of Lexi and her Father (very snobbish British) or her character's attitudes which didn't endear me to anyone except Trystan.
Moon Kissed - Enjoyed this more than the previous story and it's narrator. It started off well - Bella was being stalked by Vampires and a Werewolf and she has to decide between the better of the two evils. However, it seemed to go downhill from there - Bella's character seemed very weak, I did feel sorry for her love interest Severo the Werewolf until the twist at the end which made him reject her.
Both books were, in my opinion, quite childish (although there were some hot spots) and they were poorly, or lazily, written. Each story is totally separate from each other. This is from M.H.'s Wicked Games series 1. The Highwayman and 3. Her Vampire Husband (which I have read and enjoyed much more).
Worth a credit? I usually like her books but I don't know what happened here! I wouldn't spend a credit on it - I would put it my Wish List and wait for a sale.
The best author who can write a weird off the wall Paranormal is Michele Hauf! I before reading any of her books would never touch one because of bad experiences I have had with other authors. I was board one day and picked up this book and started reading it low and behold I was hooked. I have tried other authors but still don't really like what I started to read Michele has a way to darw you in and hook you in! She is truely gifted and she has the ablitiy to make you feel like these kinds of creatures are out and about and not feel the least bit silly for wanting to meet one.
My favorite charcter was Servero (spelling?) I could feel his pain and distaste for the Long tooth as he calls them and then his mate Bella becomes one. I can even feel her pain and frustration as she goes through 1st acceppting them and then becoming one that her Lover hates with a passion and russels in her heart at how will she live without her true love the love of her life!
In the 1at Story is the way the Principal's daughter hides behind those sunglasses and finds herself being drawn to the way the warewolf/vamp acts and teases her. Plus how he has grabbed her attention and the way her body is drawn to his before she realizes it.
I couldn't make it a tag line but how Servero can smell the vial long tooths and is jerked awake while dreaming of Abbie while he is a wolf and yells her name while Bella acts like she is still sleeping.
I wish for the male they would have a man reader reading his parts sometimes it is okay and you can get so caught up in the story and not notice but most of the other times it takes a great deal away from the story!!!
about the same as the rest
the felling of being on the adventure with them
i would like to know why the book was in two parts when the second part of the book was a total different book named the Moon Kissed which is in a different series by the same author.
