Will do anything for books!
I love a good HEA, but I must say that Sandi Lynn far exceeded my expectations on this one, we don't just see "and they lived happily ever after" on this one, no we see it!!! What a great story. Not a lot of heartache and pain in this one, THANK GOODNESS I needed to heal my bleeding heart, but this one did it! Filled with MOSTLY happiness and normal relationship angst. We do get some heart wrenches but what a wonderful ending to a fabulous story! I love this series. We get to see both Ellery and Connor's perspectives here which I absolutely LOVE.
After this is a Novella called "Being Julia" which is not audible but I read it, it is from their daughter's perspective at age 16 until adulthood, very good, sweet. Love to see the future for these two wonderful people. They've been through so much they really deserve it! I hear we will get another series for Collin as well! I imagine with Hailey!! Can't wait...Don't know what I'm talking about yet? Start listening! CHOP CHOP Get to it, not time to waste! This is a don't miss!
I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
This book did not let me down, I continued to enjoy the journey of Connor and Ellery and their struggles to maintain all aspects of life and raising a child. Ellery and Connor continue to push each other which in the end strengthens their relationship. Well worth the credit and listen.
Great ending to a great love story. I liked how it switched from Ellery to Connor's point of view in this book. I loved hearing about their challenges as new parents and newly weds…most stories end before you get what happens after they fall in love. You'll love this series.
Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
What an amazing conclusion to this trilogy! I loved the first book in this series but I must say I did not bother with book 2. It was Conners point of view from Forever Black and I felt it was redundant. Forever Us is my favorite and Connor Black will forever be one of my favorites :) Ellery takes no mess from anyone and that’s including Mr Black and I love that about her. They love each other so much and with the birth of their daughter Julia (and later towards the end, their son Collin), you see so much of it more.
All the characters were awesome and as much as I loved Peyton, Mason is my new bff..LOVED HIM! I was so happy to see him and Landon in the story - And Denny - omg..I was hoping it turned out the way it did and I was so happy for that. A few things happened (not giving away spoilers) that made me want to slap Connor upside his head, but Ellery held her own.
Overall I loved this final book and I'm sad to see it end. The entire story has got lots of emotion and lot's of hot sex. Conner is another nearly perfect Alpha male and has been added to my top 10 Mr Yummy list!!
It's all about romance in my library! I have a wonderful husband, children and my grandchildren they are my rock.
The entire book!!!
There were several...
When Denny was sick
Julie confronting the women that were looking at her Daddy
The bonding between Connor and Julia
Julie confronting the women that were looking at her Daddy, it was so funny.
I can't wait to read about Julia, I understand it coming to Kindle on 12/17/2013
Say something about yourself!
This will be the same review for all three books.
This series had some powerful stuff going on. There was concealment on both sides leading to misunderstanding and drama galore, but it was a nice growing relationship story. Sometimes I just stared at my phone thinking the leading lady was on crack, but she had her reasons for doing what she did, and he had his reasons for being the way he was.
This isn't up there with the Crossfire series because those are just exhausting to read with all the ups and downs, but this also wasn't memorable like some of the other trilogies I have read...maybe I'm being a poor sport about this but I think too much of their story was told. The old saying of first theirs love, then theirs marriage, then there is blank in the baby carriage...it was just told so clearly that it didn't leave much to the imagination.
The series is cheap enough so go ahead and purchase it, just save your credits for more powerful listens...I wouldn't call this series fluff but it wasn't gripping either.
Tell us about yourself!
What can I say!!! I loved it. I suffered a lot because of the "Elevator Man" but I don't like to "Spoil" things for others so I can just say, that I literally stopped breathing at that point. The relationship between Connor and Ellery has reached another lever and they still make promises to eachother that they both keep breaking, but now Connor has realise that if he doesn't make a change it could mean the end. Oh my, I don't want to give anything away which means this review sucks. There are a few surprises in this one and it's so dear to my heart for many reasons. I can't wait for COLLIN now. I feel very anxious. Sandi really has given her best in this book and it will not disappoint!
Less immature behavior.
Another running episode. I think Connor wouldn't the things he did if he was secured in her staying power but her fight or flight instincts puts him on high alert all the time.
This book had more steamy sex scenes and they fought a little less but Ellery still was an instigator many times which made simple discussions turn into huge fights and the constant running and needing space was a stupid defense mechanism because the more she did it, the more Connor was afraid to tell her things. The art gallery drama when she blew a gasket because he was looking at nude pictures was so childish especially for someone who is artist but when Henry looked, she acted like it was a very normal thing.
I enjoyed the last instalment of the series even more than the first one. I skipped the second book due to the reviews here and which obviously is really not necessary to be read. Again, the narrative style of using two characters helps a lot to keep the - admittedly simple romantic story - interesting.
Narration is well done.
My way in learning to relax is to read or to be read to audiblly!
The listening experience was so true to life. I found myself really into this I cried, laugh, was fearfull, my emotions were all tapped into. I felt like I was on the outside looking in.
There was a chapter when I was doubting Ellary I was in my bed not realizing I was being loud, No not you you love your husband referring to the elevator in the hotel. I was flabbergasted but then put to rest.
That was not my intention but I could not stop until it finished and the ecology great touch.
The story line took on its own qualities, no more repeat lines from the previous best seller. Although the story in its self is a pale comparison of the Fifty Shades Of Grey. But this book was a much better listen, although not really sure why it was separated into Ellery then Conner I supposed saved writing another copy like the second part
The ending was good, but I saw it coming
this again was down to no passion in the narrators
no I wouldn't waste my time
This book was pleasant enough but could have been so much better. There was no need for split story version
