enjoyed the story not the narrator

Where does Forbidden Nights with a Vampire rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I enjoyed the story and while it was not my favorite of the series it held my interest.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the meshing of the supernatural worlds

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She made everyone sound like they were 5 years old. I got the impression that the charactors were whinny and dependent and having read and listened to the other books in the series I know thats not the case

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really.

This was a good book that moved the story line along

all her books are fantastic and the narrator did a great job on the reading making it so much better

Love these books but.....

I love these audiobooks and the performances are done well, but I really wish that whoever produces these audiobooks (as in this one) would really take into consideration having the performers speak the same dialect, pronunciations of certain names/ places and characters..... I have not found a problem with any of the previous series books prior to this but in this book several of the characters did not speak the same dialect is in other books and some characters names were not pronounced the same which is really frustrating for a fan and a reader. I would literally cringe every time Jack would "speak" and when the performer said Corky's name.... I would just appreciate it as a reader and the fact that I'm also paying for this audiobook that things be kept the same.

Mispronounced Name

Gregori was mispronounced throughout the book but other than that was great to listen to.

Overall Story is Great

Narrator did not keep up with the character to this point. Her narration left quite a bit to be desired. 90% of the accents for characters were either gone, or awfully done. Big bummer, because this could have been an awesome installment, but was ruined by a bad performance. Again, this series would have been so much better if they could have found a narrator up to the job and stuck with that person. The story itself is great, and moves the series plot along, and the main characters are interesting.

Chloe was just ok...need the different accents

Vonda is Polish,Jack is Italian...Scottish accent not great. love the story and the building up to the school.

I love the series

I love this series, each book tells you a little bit more about all the characters.
This definitely is my favorite series and writer.

Love the series

I love this series but I’m not too fond of the narrator of this book. She cannot do the various characters accents properly, and does not pronounce Gregori or Laszlo’s names correctly. Aside from these two issues, she’s not that bad of a narrator and listeners can still enjoy the story.

Always Entertaining

I am going through this series very quickly. It is fun learning what happens to all of the characters.
