Irish McConnell would give his immortality for a taste of Claire Montgomery. But the Fangs of Anarchy leader can't risk his biker club, his vampire clan, or his tenuous truce with werewolf Gannon Dodd, Claire's pack alpha - and her intended mate. Nope. Vamps and weres don't mix, and Irish has managed to keep that in mind for five long, lust-filled years.
But now Claire's gone and done something really, really (really!) bad, guaranteeing her doom if she's ever found out. Truce be damned, Irish won't leave her unprotected, despite the fact this is one murder-filled bundle of trouble he doesn't need. And unfortunately for Irish, the trouble's just beginning....

I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
Inter-species relationships are forbidden by a Government who rule over the paranormals and humans alike. But this rule Is devastating for Claire because she's a Werewolf who has been whining and panting for a dreamy vampire named Irish for the past five years and he has been dreaming of her too.... also for the last five years but they could never cross the line and break the rules..... until now. Claire is meant to be mated to the mean and nasty Pack Alpha but all hell breaks out when he goes missing and the bloody evidence points to Clare having brutally killed him and so Irish steps in to protect and save her from the pack which is now led by the grieving angry brother of the missing Alpha.
But Claire is holding back secrets, secrets that's going to uncover a child kidnapping ring run by an evil and dangerous Demon which leads to a life threatening situation and not for just one of them. Irish is possessive, compassionate, intense and sexy and their mutual attraction finally leads to some needy lust filled scenes. There's twists, surprises, witty dialogue, dirty talk, sex and a suspense filled storyline which will continue. Other than riding bikes and wearing leathers there's been no reference to the 'MC biker lifestyle'.
Worth a credit? Good narration, told from dual POV's and it was enjoyable, entertaining and yes worth a credit BUT the storyline of Claire, Irish and the ongoing saga continues over a series of 5 fairly short books so I really don't know whether I will continue with this series. In my opinion, breaking a book down like this and making it into a series which will cost the eager listener 5 credits just seems a bit greedy to me..... 2 books I would of happily download, if they're less than $10 each then sure but to use 5 credits they'd all have to be something special.
Ms. Cassidy just keeps getting better and better! All her books are fun and romantic. Fangs of Anarchy was a a bit edgier but no less romantic or fun. I had to know how it would end. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
I really enjoy that the audio version was released as a box set. I love that Hollie Jackson was choosen to narrate the story.
Irish is my favorite. He was once a lawyer and I throughly enjoyed when he taunts and messes around with Courtland. I admire his dedication to hiss family and Claire. And the chemistry between Irish and Claire is fun to listen too also.
When Courtland shows up to "arrest" Claire for the death of his brother, Ganon and Irish states that he's the one who killed Ganon and not Claire.
It's a fast paced, throughly enjoyable paranormal story. Love Dakota Cassidy's writing and Hollie Jackson's narration.
Love the story line. Keeps you in suspense till the end. Great job by the narrator.
I am an avid fantasy and urban fantasy reader. I also read a lot of millitary romance.
I liked the characters and the plot. I'm looking forward to Fangs of Anarchy 2.
