This one was eh ok out of the series.

I have listened to the whole series and this one just wasn't my favorite. I didn't like the twist with the h's dad in the book. I liked the jerk turned good guy story line though.

Nerdy, Fun, Humorous and Sexy

This book was interesting, fun, humorous and sexy. Narrated by Jason Clarke and Kristen Leigh, this audiobook made my ears so happy. This was my first Brenna Aubrey book and it came highly recommended. This definitely did not disappoint. After an anonymous one night stand in cosplay at comic-con a April's spontaneously and secretly recorded sex tape goes viral. Little does April know that the hunk of man meat in the video with her is her boss at the video game company she works for. He knew it was her, she has no idea it was him... let the games begin.

This story was one I could not put down. It was completely relatable to me I grew up in southern CA, i went to college in Santa Barbara, I am a huge sci fi nerd. Not a gamer, but I can appreciate the gaming community. I felt like this book spoke to me and that experience amplified my enjoyment. Jason Clarke's voice purring in my ears is always and incredible experience, and Kristen Leigh was a great partner for him in this book. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I really enjoyed it.

I think this is my favorite Brenna Aubrey book. It so entertaining. I enjoyed the story and the reader.

What about Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh ’s performance did you like?

Jason and Kirsten did a great job narrating the story. It was pleasant to listen to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book captured different emotions. The heroine; went through a lot and I really empathized with her. Although I felt see should not have created a sex tape.

First by Brenna Aubry, but not the last

At first, I was like, "Am I really going to like this book?" Luckily, I am always one to give a book a chance and then was hooked. Brenna's characters are well developed and I enjoyed learning how each of them tick. April's development particularly engrossed me. I always enjoy Jason Clarke's narration, but I don't think I have heard Kirsten Leigh. I will definitely seek her out, because she embodded April. I will definitely get more books from this series.

Side Note: The game in the story they developed needs to be created and distributed. Like now. ;)

Loved!

This book had me from page one. Jordan hooks up with April at Comic-Con but she does not know it is her boss that she just had sex with. There is also one more problem, she has recorded the sexcapade, and some how that video was uploaded to the internet and has gone virile. Jordan has turned in to the boss from hell, to try to keep his distance from April. But a business trip out of the country is to much for them both and they hook up again. Will they be able to make it work or will the video tear them apart?

Enjoyable!

So much fun!! Just as good as the previous installments. Loved Jordan and April. Counting the minutes for William's story.

Series keeps getting better!

I really didn't think I would like Jordan's story as he was such a jerk in the first 3 books, but I guess the right woman makes a difference. I was somewhat disappointed that April took as much bs from him as she did, but it had a good message. Jordan convincing her of her worth despite his stupidity. Can't wait for Williams story!! Story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Loved April and Jordan's story. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Book 4 - Gaming the System

This is book 4 in Aubrey's Gaming the System series and I fall in love with this series with each book I read! While I would recommend this book be read in series order - this is one that can be read / listened to as a stand alone (but again - better if read in order). This is Jordan and April's story and right out of the gate I was completely captivated. April's character is so relatable with her bad choices and strive to do the right thing. I just loved her! Jordan is a playboy with no will to reform but oh, how the mighty fall. I love his banter with best friend Adam which lightens the mood through the read / listen. I love the moral and ethical decisions that must be made and the character growth. References to the Scarlet Letter is also a big plus for me. Narration is perfection - I mean really, dual narration with both narrators having beautiful, smooth voices with pitch and accents done wonderfully - what more could any listener want?!? Loved everything about this read / listen! I can't wait for more and to know William and Jenna's story which we get a teaser on at the end of this one!

Such a great series and this installment doesn’t disappoint. Insecurities are a real life daily struggle for a lot of people and I love how this whole series tackled the issues. Hot guys, great spark that leads to love, it’s all there.
