MIND...BLOWN

Shame on me for just getting around to listening to this incredible story! I saw a few reviews, and considered buying it many times over but just hadn't snagged it. I'm oh so glad I finally got a clue! This book blew me away. There are definitely some comparisons that can be drawn between Fixed On You and the Crossfire (Sylvia Day) series, however, I enjoyed this book just as much if not more than that series, and that's saying a lot because I'm a true fangirl of the Crossfire series. Alayna and Hudson are like a raging fire, and love each other fiercely. I could not get enough of them and all of their 'crazy'. These two have a romance that can only be found in fiction, and I loved every single moment of it! I'd spend two credits on this book, it was just that good.

Oh That Voice!

Would you consider the audio edition of Fixed on You to be better than the print version?

I felt the print version was better. I say this because Carly Robins voice for Hudson Pierce was awful. He sounded like a nerd with that voice.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed how Alayna Withers and Hudson Pierce relationship evolved.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Carly Robins?

Yes as long as she does not do male voices.

Just can’t get into this story...

I love Laurelin Paige’s books but somehow I cannot get into this one. It is not on Audible Escape. it’s a cliffhanger. And the rest of the series requires a credit for each of the 4 more books. The characters are not clicking for me so, with sadness, I am not recommending this one.

A story about overcoming being broken

When you are broken how do you know when you can believe in anything let alone yourself? When you have hurt people how can you ever get past it and know that if they hurt it may not be your fault? Sometimes a person’s crazy is the perfect fit for another person but fear can get in the way. Fear of repeating you bad habits and obsession. This may be a sizzling hot sexy story but it has some really hard deep issues that are not often addressed.

I didn't want this one to end.
Sexy characters and great narration make this book a great choice if you're looking for something fun to get lost in.
Thankfully there are 2 more books in the series!

“My precious”- Gollum

I absolutely love this book, all the sexy steamy romance however everytime he calls her precious gollum from LORD of the rings pops in my head, imagine getting all hot and heavy right to the core than out of no where gollum comes and cock blocks you. Other than that I love the story and off to read the next one. I am she and she is me.

Holy crap I LOVED this book! I am pretty sure I had a huge grin on my face for at least 5 minutes after reading this book. I may have even been clutching my iPhone to my chest so that I could hold on to Hudson and Alayna just a little bit longer. If I am being completely honest I sort of obsessed over Hudson and Alayna just a little bit, but only for like a day... I couldn't get them out of my head, and I have already come up with numerous different scenarios that I think could possibly take place for book 2. I don’t think I have been obsessed with a couple like this since…..well actually I think it was Tristan and Danika and that was only last week but still. This couple is one that is going to stay with me, right on up there with Gideon and Eva; Christian and Ana and James and Bianca...

My favorite part of the book that has stayed in my head... "But it wasn't just his incomparable beauty and exquisite display of male sex that had me burning between my legs and searching for the nearest exit. It was how he looked at me, in a way that no man had ever looked at me, a hungry possessiveness present in his stare as if he not only had undressed me in his mind, but had claimed me to be sated by no one ever again except him"... Gosh, i'm drooling all over the place !! :)

I so loved the Narration by Carly Robins, the voice she uses for Hudson is soooo Very Sexy, oh Yummy... I have already grabbed book two and three and can't wait for more Sexy time with this wonderful couple :)
