Publisher's summary

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us, a novella about the search for happily ever after.

A chance encounter in the dark leads 18-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: They agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them seemed perfect only because they were pretending it was. Moments like that happen only in fairy tales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in love-at-first-sight is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Unfortunately for Daniel, finding true love doesn’t guarantee a happily ever after—it only further threatens it.

Will an unbearable secret from the past jeopardize Daniel and Six’s only chance at saving each other?

Nice break off from the previous books in series

This could be listened to as a stand alone. However, having read the first two books, the author does a great transition to get you caught up. The narrator, Jason
Carpenter, does a great job with the characters of this book. Colleen is a master writer of young adult books. This story is refreshing, even though it took me a while to guess what Six's big secret was. Colleen did a great job of laying the ground work.

He has a voice that is easy to listen to and helps bring the story to life.

A Hit for Me!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend this book. I really enjoyed hearing this story in the first person voice of the male lead character. I thought the story line was fresh and new and really kept me interested.Since these are high school students, some adults may not like the subject matter but I think its a good representation of what goes through a teenagers mind. The main character is definitely a boy I would allow daughter to date. Prologue was a little unexpected and I think the author could have done more to tie it into the story somewhere but didn't take away from my enjoyment;. I was disapppointed it ended actually...check it out!

What other book might you compare Finding Cinderella to and why?

Can't think of one. The story was unlike any other I've seen so far.

What does Jason Carpenter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I thought he did a great job of expressing the main characters feelings.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Spoiler...toward the end when Daniel tells his best friend he loves him and he's not ashamed to tell him. I thought it was great to hear that from a male character. That's what friendship should be like. They supported each other throughout the story.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed it. Listened to it in 2 sittings. Never boring or drawn out plotlines. SImple, sweet, to the point and a really enjoyable listen.

Brilliant

One of my favorites from Colleen Hoover. Love how it was connected to the first 2, yet totally could be read alone! Finished it in a day!

The twist at the end

Daniel is pretty witty. I love the way he loves. I think it’s a perfect introduction to additional characters and makes sense why he deserves his own book!

So so good, hilarious and sweet

I swear I laughed out load more during this book than I have any other book. The banter between all the characters were perfect. I loved getting a glimpse into sky and holder again and seeing the friendship between the 4 of them. 5 star narration as well. Jason Capenter's delivery was amazing. I have a hard time finding narrorators that don't annoy me in some way anymore, but the narration for all three of the finding hope books were great. I'll be coming back to this book again when I need a pick me up. It was so funny...almost forgot, Daniels parents! How perfectly funny were they !?!
