The Conclusion of Gwen and JC's Story

I came to The Sky Launch to begin fresh, away from the horrors of my past. The circumstances that brought me here were not the best, but I've become good friends with Alayna and Hudson Pierce, and my family has healed in ways I never thought they could. With them around me, I've never felt more at home. But starting anew means letting go. And there are some things I don't want to leave behind - like JC, the man who taught me how to let loose. The man I wasn't supposed to love. The man I don't want to lose. My life is safe now. The threats from before have become less menacing, and I'm faced with a choice: either move on completely or keep holding to the hope that JC loves me enough to come and find me.

Insecure Babble for too Many Hours

My goodness, this series is full of insecure people but listening to Gwen go on and on with the ramblings in her head is enough to make you wonder when will the book get to something interesting: not until the last two hours. Skip this book! It could have been so much better if we could have focused on a stronger plot line rather than hear every insecure thought that popped into this girl’s head.

I want to like these books but...

The angst is created by having really, really insecure women who overthink everything. It’s so annoying.
Also, I’m over female narrators performing male voices. It takes me out of the moment. It’s usually quite unconvincing.

love the author, hated characters

The writing was really good, but I hated the characters, and the story development. not an enjoyable stress. turned me off on the author, even though the writing was really good.

Great conclusion!

I'm a hypocrite. If the hero had done what the heroine had done in this book, I would have been so angry. Instead, I feel like it's about time the roles were reversed. You'll understand when you read this. It was a refreshing change to see a man have to suffer the jealousy of another man instead of it always being female jealousy.

Everything worked out the way I would have wanted it to in the conclusion of Gwen and JC. I truly enjoyed this couple. I think they were just as fun to read about as Hudson and Alayna. A bit less drama which I can appreciate. I do feel sorry for Chandler but I'll be reading his book next so I'm sure I will not feel sorry for him for long.

One of my FAVORITE Love Stories!!

Find Me was one of THE BEST sequels I've ever had the pleasure of reading! Laurelin Paige did that!! The same momentum that made the first book unputdownable followed into this second book because I was riveted. Gwen and JC had every single second of my attention. I was completely immersed in their world and I didn’t want to leave. I love all Laurelin Paige’s books, I mean man this woman can write a book and make it damn near impossible to choose a favorite but something about Gwen and JC just forever imprinted on my heart. They stand in a league of their own. The emotion she evoked from you out of this book was just overwhelming! I mean there were times I wanted to jump up and throw my Kindle across the room! And JC, wow, I mean there are no words for that mouthwatering man. If you thought he caught your heart in the first book be prepared to have it stolen and never returned in this one!! Gwen simply awed me in her transformation she made from Free Me to Find Me. Seeing both her and JC open themselves up to the power of love left my heart aflutter and completely overflown. Standing ovation to you Miss Laurelin Paige for this BEAUTIFULLY AMAZING ending story to JC and Gwen's story! Tanya Eby did a fantastic job! She amazes me in her talent to do so many genres seamlessly.

Great story with fantastic narration.

Ah I love Gwen and JC. This second book gives us all the missing pieces. It starts with Gwen setting a date on which she's going to let JC go from her life, but of course fate has other things in store for her. Their paths cross again and they're all in, but someone is after JC and Gwen’s past is catching up to her too. Once all the secrets are out on the table we get to enjoy the relationship between these two and see how it moves from purely physical to that bone deep connection that soul mates have. JC is determined to keep Gwen safe, even if he has to sacrifice his own happiness, but Gwen is ready to stand by her man no matter what.

The physical connection these two have is sultry and wholly satisfying. The scenes that Laurelin writes will have you fanning yourself and you glued to the pages. They begin to get adventurous and explore this side of their lives. Laurelin is the Queen of Steam but also writes a really good plot; full of intrigue, action and emotions.

I always love meeting new couples in her worlds and seeing how they interact and fit into the bigger picture. This duet and couple were no different. Although they have their own amazing story, they fit nicely into the Fixed World and again we see other couples making cameos.

Tanya gives us another stellar performance, with the book being solely from Gwen’s POV, she does it all. Her ability to give us the desperation, protectiveness and connection between these two was fantastic. Another brilliant audiobook with a cracker story and wonderful narration.

Struggled to finish

1st let me say I have enjoyed the "Dirty" and "Fixed" series so far and I was really looking forward to reading Gwen's story after her introduction in "Forever with you" But her character in the "The Found Duet" books was so wishy washy it was really frustrating, making it really hard to get through. Earlier in the fixed series she appeared tough, thick skinned and determined although it was obvious she had past hurts and some secrets. In this series, I was seriously waiting for a mental health bomb to drop to explain her thoughts and actions [starting a sexual relationship with a 19 year old Chandler while stating she was pining for JC who was missing from her life for less than a year. Gwen openly admits to herself Chandler doesn't satisfy her sexually and he has other female partners, she doesn't educate him. She finally decides to finish things with him as she doesnt have any real feelings of love for him, but then goes back and forth in her mind between Chandler and JC]

Boring plot

I was hoping for a deep mystery with a page-turning plot like Page has authored before . Very disappointed.
Also a male reader should have been added to make it more realistic.

Disappointing and annoying

The main character is soooo annoying. Whining all the time, illogical and over analyzing everything. Had to skip a lot just to get to the end.
