It is a Chick Book
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I am Male and this seems to be a Chick Fantasy book. It was okay but not on my list of favorites.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The book does not end with the first book.
How could the performance have been better?
My wife listened to the book also and she chose to go buy the print version rather than listen to the second two books. The story was okay but I think the performance could have been much better.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
I hope they figure out a way to make this into a movie.

Why is this woman narrating this story?! It’s so damn annoying. A book like this should have a different kind of narrator.
This woman’s voice is so annoying. It’s not sexy or mysterious like this story is. The person narrating this type of story should have a husky, sort of low sexiness to it. This woman sounds like she just popped up from the valley. So irritating.

Great Read
I loved this book couldn't put it down . Anastatia Steel is doing a favor for her best friend Kate to interview Christian Grey, a very wealthy business man who donated money to their universaty. Ana finds Christian very attractive but also intimidating. Christian lives a different life style that Ana is used too so when he tells her what he wants from her she wants to understand why he's like that, but Christian doesn't want to tell her the truth because he's afraid that once she knows she will leave him. One night Ana tells Christian that she wants to try to see if she can handle his needs, but she never thought how bad it could get. When Ana confesses her real fealings to Christian, his reaction wasn't what she expected so she made a really tough decision which left her with a broken heart.

Fifty Shades of Fabulous
I'm disappointed that I saw the movie before I read the book. I think I was disappointed by the narrator simply because her voice is so different from the actress that it made a real difference to me in how the material came across.
