Loved the narrater

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades of Grey the most enjoyable?

Great story - hard to get enough of it! I can't understand why so many people complained about the narrator - I thought she was great! I just bought the second book in this series and they changed the narrator - WEIRD! I wish they'd go back to the original.
This story was addicting... I can't wait to start the next book!

Good story, HORRIBLE Narration

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

HORRIBLE, her valley girl accent, and her very non manly accents were horrible. Very annoying. I did like the book.

The story and charaters captured me. The only thing that irritated me was the e-mails. OMG, I didn't need all the sastics for every e-mail.

Probably not. Wooden characters. As boring as a pron is.

Sounded like she was a 16 year old twit. Her performance made worse a mediocre book.

Yes I would recommend this audiobook to a friend. I have heard about sub and doms before but did not really know much about the subject. The audiobook is educational and the love story is very compelling.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the love story and the relationships the 2 main characters had with friends and family.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I have not listened to any of Becca Battoe's other performances. But she made the story very believable and the characters in the book come alive.

I liked the 1st audiobook so much I had to get the remaining 2 audiobooks and enjoyed these 2 just as much as the 1st.

Really needs a different narrator!

I know everyone is complaining about the narrator but I enjoyed her. Especially funny when she would shout the Argh sound. lol. Good series, sometimes a bit much sex but a good story behind it.

I would not have placed soooo much sex in the book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I believe all the characters are great.

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

HER VOICE.... Plus: when reading emails, there is no need to read every single thing. Including To: From: Date and Time: It really bothered me because there is about 5-10 minutes of email: TO: Name Subject: From: Name then Date: with the date and then a 2 second message and this all follows with another email and then another and then another. Not sure if this is Becca or this is the author.

Was Fifty Shades of Grey worth the listening time?

Yes and No. I would highly recommend that if you are listening to this book, do NOT do so at work unless you are using headphones. The amount of sex scenes in the book can cause a few issues.

Love the story line but could do without all the details of the sex.

Enthralling - Captivating

What did you love best about Fifty Shades of Grey?

I love the story - I could not stop listening. Grey is Captivating as a character - and I relate so much to Anastasia

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

UGH - it was SO hard to listen to her voice - While she was eloquent - the tones were all the same - and her voices - horrible. I am sorry Becca - But this was not a great performance. You captured a great Anastasia - but everyone else sounded the same - and I often got confused as to who was talking. Not to mention - no intonation. You could have really gone CRAZY with this story - and it was very mundane.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
