Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Love these books

Love these books. Can't wait for the last movie to come out to watch it as well. I think my inner goddess and my subconscience are both pervert. Because they could can not get enough of Christian and Anastasia until the very end.

struggling to finish this book!

I struggled to listen to this book. Christian's control over Anna is just so upsetting for me and her being so passive is just as upsetting, however I really enjoyed the ending and it was worth it at the end.

I wanted more!!!

I wished we could have learned more about how Christian's love for Anastasia developed. We only get to see a glimpse of the story from Christian point of view at the end and
it left me wanting more!!!
It would be lovely to see a version of this love story narrated by Mr. 50 Shades!!!

Thoroughly Enjoyed It

What did you love best about Fifty Shades Freed?

Everything is resolved. There is suspense, romance (of course), and even a happy ending! I love that both characters could continue to be themselves while being able to love each other for who they are.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

When Ana shot Jack!

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

I love that she can switch into Christian's voice like it's nothing, then switch back to Ana and all the other characters. I especially liked this skill at the end of the book, when Christian's perspective was written about. I really believed her, and I think she's a great talent.

Great Trilogy - Bad Narrator

If you could sum up Fifty Shades Freed in three words, what would they be?

Great! Great! Great

What did you like best about this story?

How Christian grows emotionally.

Any additional comments?

This is a very good trilogy, but Becca Battoe is not the narrator for this series. Although Ana is young and, in the beginning, very innocent, she grows into a blossoming woman in a matter of months. The narrator does not bring this into her reading. Becca Battoe's reading is on the level of a 3rd grader and it was difficult to enjoy. There's very little emotion in her voice and it's pretty dull. This is an erotic series and the sensual scenes should make you feel what Ana is feeling, but it doesn't. It's like reading any other book. No imagination in the reader's voice. It's pretty dull - and Christian's voice - don't get me started on that. Becca Battoe leaves a lot to be desired in the reading of this series.

OMG GREAT BOOKS

I cannot wait for the movie. I just loved the books. If people take the time to fall in love with the story they will see that both Anna and Christian are both looking for something that they are missing and are able to find it in each other and that it is not just about the sex. MAN I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE. I HOPE THAT IT DOES THE BOOK SOME JUSTICE and doesn't just focus on the sex part because that with disappointment me.

On the hook all the way through

Thank you, Ms. James for creating this masterpiece trilogy and thank you, Ms. Battoe for your brilliant portrayals! This work has run the full span of my emotions, from joyous laughter to intense sobbing.. It is especially engrossing for anyone who has studied psychology and psychiatry. The story is masterfully woven with a mulithread mystery as well as the relentless rollercoaster of a deep human relationship of discovery and healing.
