Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Mediocre

The narrator's voice was a little annoying and hard to get over. As the 3rd book for Fifty Shades of Grey, it gives proper ending to the series.

Good read

Where does Fifty Shades Freed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Middle

What did you like best about this story?

The characters really evolved and the author did a really good job capturing how they really care for each other.

What aspect of Becca Battoe’s performance would you have changed?

The male voices. I had a hard time listening to those voices. I thought she was fine as Anna, but not as Christian and the other men.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

For the most part.

Any additional comments?

Overall, I thought it was a good trilogy. After listening to the first one I thought the story line was okay, but a little too graphic for me. However, I wanted to finish it out and I thought the storyline and how the characters developed were pretty good.

Intriguing!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

Yes, you get to really understand each character as the role is being played. Its great I have been really loving audible more than print reading...so very relaxing and private too.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Freed to and why?

no comparison

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Mr. Gray, Taylor

I loved the way the Narrator got me hooked.

I read the book first then went to see the movie. The movie was disappointing it left out so much. I loved how the Narrator pulled me into the story, and how she changed her voice so it was easy to discern who was speaking. I read a lot but sometimes I need my hands and eyes free. The audio book is a nice way to pass the time in the car and while doing chores.

Love This Trilogy

What did you love best about Fifty Shades Freed?

The attention to detail was great but even better was the story of Ana and Christian. Anyone who has been in love with someone who has issues can relate. These characters are very well written and you care about what happens to them. You hope for them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian as I think thru the series he has grown the most.

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

By the third book the narrator had lost a lot of that nasal valley girl sound.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Any additional comments?

I would really like to see E.L. James write a prequel of Christian concentrating not so much on his early childhood but more when he meets Mrs. Robinson and the years leading up to meeting Ana.
