Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

I would enjoyed the information about his childhood at the beginning of Fifty Shades. It would have made everything more realistic.

unbelievable

this book has left me wanting even more from this series and I'm sad that there is only one version left which is HIS version. I'll be sad when I finish it and I'll have to start a new book.

Ended too abruptly

Left me wanting more details about their post baby life. Narrator's "male" voice is awful.

The book was just ok

What really bothered me was the actor reading. Her voice was monotone and the lack of story made it a boring read.

Fifty Shades Freed was Great

I just can't get enough. It's now time to write all of Christian Grey's thoughts. I need more books :-)

This story

The narrator did great. The book, itself, was alright. I was hoping for a little more story and a little less sex. The ending to the book was a bit disappointing but I did appreciate the last chapter and, also, the look into Christian's childhood.

Listening was different

I read this book in print a few years ago and I enjoyed it more than listening. The audio performance was good but listening made me see it different than reading. I got annoyed hearing the words bemused, bereft, and mercurial because they were used quite often. Also hearing the phrase "oh my!" The story just didn't seem to be as good the second time around. I still listened to the trilogy because I had to finish once I started.

Same description over and over....

The narrator did a great job telling the story even though it was very repetitive. Scenes were disc river the same way over and over. Quickly lost its eroticism and became boring. Found myself skipping sex scenes to continue story.
