Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Pretty Woman meets Dirty Dancing with GWTW

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

I only listened to the audible version of all three of the books. I have not read them. After joining Audible.... I just love to put on my blue tooth and listen to books walking, riding my bike and walking in to work from parking garage.... albeit the "back way!!"

At first I hesitated after reading the reviews but I have actually listened to parts of all the books again since I basically Rushed through them... anticipating the final ending.
I did not mind the narration and even admire her ability to vary the different characters.

Again I thought this was Pretty Woman meets Dirty Dancing with a flair of Gone With the Wind for those of us that remember that movie!

Thank you AGAIN Audible!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Anna for her strength.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I liked ALL three books. I appreciated the information provided and the vocabulary that was utilized with intonation and inflection and excellent articulation of the text.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

After reading reviews I was concerned that the voice would be "too childlike" but I thoroughly enjoyed all three books and have even re-listened to most of the 3 books!

!

Any additional comments?

I thoroughly LOVE Audible. I have listened to more books in the past year and continue to work full time, etc. This is such an enjoyable way of using bluetooth plus iPhone and keeps me occupied on drives long and short!

Great conclusion. Terrible reading.

This book is just as exciting as the other two, just not quite in the same way. It is the perfect conclusion to the story.

Becca's voice is nice enough, but her reading was terrible. She emphasized what I consider to be all the wrong words. The manner in which she said things didn't make sense with what James intended as the meaning. Becca needs to learn to read context. She also reads a lot of stuff loudly even when it says that it is whispered or moaned. I had to drag myself through this audiobook because of her performance.

Good book just not my style

Would you try another book from E. L. James and/or Becca Battoe?

not at this time

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

WOW... there was a lot.

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

I loved her voice and the way she speaks. She did great !!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fifty Shades Freed?

I love business books so this was a hard one for me. I think she did great and I would just leave the story alone. The rest of the US loves her books.

Any additional comments?

Great book. I just love business book so it was kind of hard for me to get through it. But I did and it was a great story. Good job EL James

OK

I felt that they left out a lot of details in the book, and it kinda was repetitive though out the book as a whole.

Freed Indeed

Fifty Shades Done.

I really enjoyed the story line and felt satisfied when our Christian 'found the light'. It was a fitting ending to a steamy series and I found myself almost hesitant to say goodbye to the much-hyped characters.

E.L. James probably smoked a long cigarette when she was done inking these tomes. I would say it's erotica tamed. A little naughty, but the whip is firmly in Ana's hand. She's been in charge the entire time. . .

Overall the performance was a little lack-luster and mono toned for me. . . .not as deep as the written word suggests. I was used Ms. Battoe as I'd listened to the first two Fifty books already, but must say that it's not the voice of Ana for me.

If you've ready the first two E.L. James books, you owe it to yourself to finish what you started. Don't read this first. You won't get it at all.

I loved absolutely everything about this book!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

it is very hard to say, i was completed all in one go. Could not stop listening.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is just the best narrator! You will not fill it 100% if you just read it..

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

not particularly... the whole story was just amazing
