Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Too much

I didn't like the readers voice at all. I liked the romantic story but found myself fast forwarding a lot. Wondered about the PC of the writer based on her description and treatment of the only African American in the story.

Great Listen

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

Yes! I actually watched the movie first and then decided to read the books. They were very easy to follow and had me intrigued all the time.

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

She has a great voice and I found that her voice is actually very much like that of Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steel in the movie. It really helped with picturing what was going on.

Love the book - Love the Narrator

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades Freed the most enjoyable?

Two Words - Becca Battoe. She was able to let the story flow no matter which character she took on. She made it more pleasureable to listen to. She has made me feel the story. She morphed me into the world of Christian and Anastasia.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Freed to and why?

There are no other books that I can compare to the Fifty Shades Trilogy.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are too many to mention but if I could pick one - when Christian gives Anastasia a charm bracelet with charms representing all their "irsts including an ice cream cone to represent their vanilla relationship.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

E.L. James Stories have made me laugh, cry , feel scared, and angry throughout all three books. I have been stared at by many people because of laughing out loud or just crying on hte spot.

Any additional comments?

I also think the narrator did a outstanding job and will read more books narrated by her. This trilogy was very emotional and above all a beautiful story.
