Publisher's summary

Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton have been best friends and successful business partners for years. They’re powerful, they’re imposing, they’re irresistibly sexy, and Jace and Ash share everything - including their women. When they meet Bethany, Jace begins to feel things he’s never experienced before: jealousy and a powerful obsession that threatens him, overwhelms him - and excites him beyond control. Jace isn’t sharing Bethany - with anyone. He’s determined to be the only man in her life, and it’s jeopardizing a lifelong friendship with Ash. Bethany will be his and his alone. Even if it means turning his back on his best friend.

Intense whirlwind

Would you consider the audio edition of Fever to be better than the print version?

Yes, the narrator did an excellent job portraying the characters and events.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fever?

When Bethany walked out on Jace and waited in the rain determined to have her stay after almost taking the pill. When the realization of it all hit Jace .

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Intense emotion, struggle against the odds and fairy tales and dreams do sometime come true for real people.

Any additional comments?

Great story worth the wait. Jace deserves someone special in his life. Can't wait for Ash.

SEEDY

Would you consider the audio edition of Fever to be better than the print version?

Yes, because I can have it read for extended periods of time rather than sitting down to read. The content was about the same. I like the unabridged much better in general.

If you’ve listened to books by Maya Banks before, how does this one compare?

I would say that her books are generally the same--love, sex, problem, problem solved, then marriage at the end. This one had a twist at the end, which kind of took my breath away.

Which scene was your favorite?

Do not want to divulge because that might ruin it for others.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Romance in the wild.

I just have to say Maya out did herself. I cried, laughed and was down right in love with Gab & Jess. Hopefully Ash can find love in the next book

It wasn't terrible,but it wasn't good either.

I loved RUSH, but this book doesn't even compare. The story was just annoying,we get she had a troubled past. But damn,it's like Jace couldn't get past it,never trusted her. That was highly annoying, also I love terms of endearment but Jace is 'baby' the only word you know. If you can get past these few things, then you might enjoy this book. I'm still going to read Burn,I love some Ash.

Real fast paced.

Loved the story. Love happening so fast seems crazy but life is like that sometimes the unexpected happens

Dreams Do Come True

What can I say about Fever? It totally rocked!! I just can't get enough of this series. These "boys" are so hot! LOL Maya Banks sure knows how to make some hot and steamy books. Burn is the next book in the Breathless trilogy and its release date is August 6th. I can't wait to hear about Ash!

Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton are best friends who just happen powerhouse hotel moguls in New York. They know what they want and will do whatever it takes to get it.....or her. Fever is the story of Jace and Bethany. Jace meets Bethany one night during Gabe and Mia's engagement party and is instantly drawn to her. But Bethany comes with a past and "Baggage" - her so called brother. I honestly fell in love with Bethany. I think she is the sweetest girl ever. But don't confuse that kindness for weakness cause she is one tough little cookie and she isn't afraid to put Jace in his place. One of my favorite moments was the girls' night out. It was the first time I saw Bethany truly be herself and not holding back. The characters are all great and I love how Maya brought Gabe and Mia in Fever. When we fall in love with a couple like them, we want to hear about them every chance we get.

If you haven't started reading the Breathless series, I strongly suggest you do. Fever was filled with romance, hot scenes and a great love story. Just what all girls want in a great book.
Adam Paul was great with the delivery of the story.

The second book in this series was perfectly narrated with just the right amount of emotion to draw the listener in. I have to confess I stayed up all night listening to this audiobook! Highly recommend!
