Publisher's summary

When female wolf shifter Taryn Warner first encounters Trey Coleman, an alpha male wolf shifter with a dangerous reputation, she’s determined to resist his charms. After all, Trey - who was only fourteen when he defeated his own father in a duel, winning the right to be alpha of his pack - can’t have anything to offer the talented healer besides trouble, or so she thinks. Taryn finds herself drawn in by Trey’s forceful demeanor and arctic-blue eyes, and she eventually agrees to enter an uneasy alliance with him. If the two succeed in convincing their respective packs that they’ve chosen each other as mates, Trey will win valuable political allies, while Taryn will escape an odious arranged mating.

But there are a lot of potential pitfalls to this plan - including the very real possibility that the wolf shifters, overwhelmed by their growing attraction to each other, will be unable to maintain the clear heads needed to pull off the deception.

Great read and listen

Sometimes it is hard to get into a book. This book had me from the begining. As I continued to read I never had a need for more. I don't write reviews, this the second review I havé written. This book is worth your time and money. If you like shifters, love and sex then this is the book for you. I just purchased book two and will fill you in if book 2 lives up to the high bar.

Shifter Shades of Gray / some spoilers

There were too many instances that are similar to that other story. The whole Dominate or Submissive thing I was a bit confusing to me. I didn't like how often it seemed as if the DOM wolf was close to rape even though the female enjoyed it. ( and they did) The character of the Dom is very flat and not quite 3 dimensional. I listened the 2nd and third of this series and it gets better

JILL REDFIELD FOR THE WIN

I have listen and read to this book twice now. With no sign of not going for a third. The narrator does such good job doing the male and female roles and the fated mate and spice is my favorite. Their grumpy/sunshine with the banter is why I keep coming back to this read. Thank you for letting me escape into this world!

Overexaggerated words, made it feel forced and unnatural.

I'm not sure, if it was the Narrorator or the Author, but the over use and over-exaggerated curse words and sex depictions made it hard to take anything seriously in the book. The story was quite predictable and left little wonder or awe.

Unexpected

This was a shifter story that kept my interest. I’ve tried other authors and usually lose interest.

BEWARE.... YOUR EARPHONES MAY MELT !!

I took a chance on this and I'm soooo glad I did - it captures you from Chapter 1 as Taryn, a fiesty Latent Werewolf (a Wereshifter who cannot shift), is kidnapped and made an offer she can't refuse by Trey, a mouthwatering sexy Alpha with attitude, (every good wereshifting book should have one) and the story heats up from there.

They have to deceive her father and her pack into believing that she and Trey are soul mates but in order to do this they have to go through some of the 'claiming' rituals (ahh shucks poor things!). It all backfires because they are lustfully attracted to each other and there's lots and lots (and lots) of sexual verbalisations about what he is going to do to her........ and BEWARE they are all graphically carried out.

So, if you're looking for a riveting hot paranormal romance that has strong kick-ass characters, lots of action, great sarcastic one liners that are so funny, an interesting addictive and well written plot with a few twists and, if that's not enough for you, then top it off with a talented narrator that brings to life a Wereworld that, once you visit it, you just won't be able to stay away - so I can't wait for Wicked Cravings Dante's story to come out.

Worth a credit? YES (even 2) - but my 'under $10 rule' of just buying it applied and I saved my credit for a more expensive (but maybe not so worthy) listen.

Perfect

What made the experience of listening to Feral Sins the most enjoyable?

It has it all!! Shifters that are soooo sexy. A female you can't help but love. To top it off fantastic sex.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved them all.

What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is one of my favorite narrators!! Getting to listen to a great narrator is such a better experience than reading it myself.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!!!!!

Any additional comments?

I'm already wanting another book. Well, and I do mean well worth a credit or just buy it!!

Super HAWT! Super Romantic!

This book is amazing. And it amazes me more that the writer is self-published. It was crazy good that i would have thought she was an established writer already.

Anyhoooo... This is a really good start to a really good series. The story wasn't that original, but the female lead totally is. I have never come across such a dry tenacious sarcastic strong independent funny yet adorable heroine such as her.

The male lead was also a really consistent character. From the get go, he had been the strong broody alpha male and never backed down from there on. Though he was sweet, but he never was that mushy gooey romantic type. He was strong and possessive and yet he was a kind understanding alpha in his pack. He was HAWT! no... Hot is his the definition of hot!!!!!

The story was captivating. Plots were believable. Relatable. Suzanne wrote this book in a fast consistent pace that i found very refreshing. Instead of getting into small unnecessary details like other writers, she got right to the point. She also did a really good job explaining the internal dialogues of both hero and the heroine. It was rather delicious to hear what they were thinking of each other. And the sex... was really interesting (AHEM AHEM).

The story came to life by my favorite narrator of the whole world, Jill Redfield. She's a chameleon. She gave voices to all the characters and made them so realistic and that much more interesting. I like how she did that throaty calming voice for the hero. It's exactly how i imagine his voice would be. Thank you!

It was an unexpected delicious treat. I finished this book almost in 1 sitting. Sadly i can't find any information about the date of the coming-soon sequel. Hopefully soon cause i'm definitely craving for more "wolfy claiming"!

Grab it! can't be wrong! :D

Tips: for those who already LISTENED/READ this book and crave for more. Go to Suzanne Wright's website you will find uncut/deleted sex scene but i must warn you it's super graphic! it's not for the light-hearted. I wasn't surprise at all that that scene didn't make the cut when published. YES! it was that graphic.... PS: DO NOT READ THE UNCUT SCENE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ/LISTEN to this book.

NEVER COME IN WITH WIDE EYED INNOCENCE!

This book definately was a paranormal romance book with shifters, super sexy alpha males, kick-butt action, intrigue and behind the scenes politics. It had sex, humor, sex, lots of one liners and sex. Oh yes, did I mention the sex. This book is definately not for those who shy away from steamy sex scenes and off color (dirty) talk. It seemed like there was the initial sex scene and than continual sex scenes through most of the book, before the lead characters began to really get down and dirtier. Great narration and great one liners.
It could have used more story to go along with the sex scenes, but over all, it was a fun listen.
