Okay

This was a short book. Good thing. I did not feel the author developed the characters as well as she could have. I usually love anything about the Westmorelands but this one fell sort of flat. It was not a total bust. I enjoyed it some, but it was not the excitement I usually get with her books. It was predictable. I am okay with that- I realize it is a romance book. If I wanted suspense and lots of drama, I wouldn't read her books. It was not totally disappointing, but it did not hit the mark. I feel it would have been much better had she bridged the two sides of the Westmorelands and developed the main characters more. All in all, this will not keep me from continuing to buy and listen/read her books. I hope she keeps the saga of the Westmorelands alive.

Another great one

Once again a man who knows what he wants, goes for it, doesn't give up, and gets the girl. I live it, I'm such a sucker for a happy ending

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I liked how it had a bit of medical drama. Can't wait to read or listen to more of the Westmoreland clan stories.

Second time around with honest and raw . . .

Kalina and Micah did not find their first time around to be successful, but of course it was just suppose to be about sex. Kalina finds that it may have been more than that where Micah was concerned. Micah finds that Kalina should have known better than to believe lies about him. One thing he did not figure in to that was that his relationship with Kalina was superficial. She knew very little about him outside of work and the bedroom.

The chemistry was there but the true romance took a moment to surface. Kalina was smart to be cautions and Micah was determined to be successful. Their second time around will be meet with honest and raw emotions. The chance to get to know more about each other on a deeper level.

Avery Glymph did a delightful job. He brought to life the character with clarity. I could clearly tell that this was a couple of ethnic backgrounds. The diction and tone between male and female easy to determine.
