Entertaining and funny

This book kept my attention for the entire listening adventure. It was a nice blend of mystery, murder, humor, and romance. The narrator made the characters come alive.

It starts well but . . .

It starts well but goes a bit awry half way through. The story starts well as the characters ccme to life but half way through the story is ‘’treading water’ and going nowhere. It was as though the author was padding the story in the middle or it would end too quickly. The end when it does come was over in a short while and the reader then needs to think back to the beginning to who and what these people’s relationships and actions were.
I’d probably give another of Jennifer Cruise’s books a go but she’ll only get one more chance to win me over.

Not Jennifer Cruise's best but has potential

I did enjoy this story, it was light and fun with a some mystery mixed in. Not Jennifer Cruise's best work but it was worth the listen. The main guy was a bit arrogant and snotty but learns to appreciate her as times goes by. I really like Jennifer Cruise's work and found this story delightful.

If this was a series - I'd be a faithful fan

What did you love best about Fast Women?

Tbhe plots were interesting. The characters genuine. The relationships warm... a good quick feel good chic book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed the women - their humor. The women were real and not catty...real friends.

Which character – as performed by Sandra Burr – was your favorite?

I had a difficult time at first with the pace that she read in....slow down.....

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many tender moments.

Any additional comments?

Not a heavy book. The hardest part was keeping track of the characters and their relationshops. I enjoyed it tremendously and would love to visit with them again.

Loved it! An amazing listen! I'd listen to it again and I've already read the book.. twice!

So good I had to hear it again! Like comfort food.. it hits all the spots! Well worth the listen

I am not too fond of Nell. I get being a strong woman but she's annoying.

Not the Best

This is my sixth Jennifer Crusie books ??? I can say it was the best one of hers I have read. I loved the characters in the book but felt it took too long to get to the meat of the story. The ending is predicable and several twist and turns in the book ??? nothing you can???t see coming. In general it was a fairly fun book to listen too. Like the previous books of hers she has her reoccurring themes ??? it dishware.

I highly recommend this multiple murder mystery. On the way to discovering the killer, you'll find yourself laughing at the sometimes subtle and sometimes not so subtle humor of falling in love and making the personal discoveries that make an enduring relationship.

Great characters - nice to hears their voices

I feel like I was a part of the story. Why do I need to write at least 15 words?

Never understood the title, but love the characters and story line. First "met" Gabe in Maybe This Time. Glad he got his story
