Publisher's summary

I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way. Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.

Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go.

Nell Hawthorne is in love with her life-long best friend, Kyle Calloway. Their young love is invincible and life is full of promise; then one night Kyle dies suddenly in a tragic accident and Nell is forever changed. She meets Kyle's older brother, Colton, for the first time at the funeral. They both struggle to move on with life as best they can. Years later, they meet again in New York City, and Colton realizes that Nell has never really gotten over Kyle's death. She seems to be harboring a deeply rooted pain, a heavy weight of guilt, and regret. He knows he shouldn't get involved, but he can't help himself. Trust doesn't come easily for either of them, and they both have demons. Together, they learn the purpose of pain and the meaning of healing, and the importance of forgiveness.

Heart Wrenching Story

Loved the story but wish the narration could have coincided with the book. Male voice for Colton, female voice for Nell. When they are both talking, why not let the narrators read the parts? Maybe there are rules.

Ripped my heart out!!!!!!!!

I didnt give this book 5 stars because it was just too sad for me. I listen to audiobooks to get away for a while from the real world and this story just was too sad. The characters are deep and the story IS good, but break out the tissues because you WILL cry.

One of my favorites

I enjoy romance every so often but never reread. I have reread this story many times. The story is much more plausible than most romance stories and I don't find myself constantly rolling my eyes. The narrators are amazing and really give life to the characters.

Completely Obsessed!!

What did you love best about Falling into You?

I cannot even pick one thing. I LOVE this love story. I listen to it repeatedly when I want to feel true love. I am a 45 yr old woman, married almost 20 years, not a young adult as this book was geared for but I fell so in love with these characters its just ridiculous. lol.

What did you like best about this story?

That Colton was always there to protect her and was always drawn to her.

Have you listened to any of Gabriel Vaughan and Piper Goodeve ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this was the first book I heard of theirs. I love them. And then I just googled them and read their love story. OMGOODNESS..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes. I was obsessed. downloaded the play lists for the books etc and so forth.

Any additional comments?

After listening to this and the rest of the books, I was sooooo heartbroken to see the series come to an end. I am hoping that Gabriel will do a audio for Falling for Colton.

This story was amazing. It takes you through tragedy and healing through unconventional ways. Well written and well read.

I liked it but

I don't want to give anything away and for the most part it was a good story up until the middle, I guess. I didn't like that their tragedies we're pretty much the same thing except with different people and in different situations. So I was pretty much like, really!!!I just heard the story twice in the same book but in a different way. 🤷🏻‍♀️

SO SO!

This book started off good but went down hill form there. I almost felt like I was reading a different book towards the end. It wasn't a total bomb for me but almost. Wait for this one to go on sale.

Unbelievably amazing

I am an avid audible listener (I listen to them all day at work.) I have countless books in my library and probably 95% are from this genre. I'm a hopeless romantic and love to escape into characters and their worlds. This book amazed me. I was hooked and couldn't step away other than to listen to the songs referenced throughout the story. Piper does such an incredible job portraying Nell. She had me sobbing tears in heartbreak (which at work is a little awkward, but I didn't care because I didn't want to stop listening). I wish the story continued in a series with just these characters though I feel like things were rushed just to get everything into the one book. I love the music woven into the story and of you listen to the songs it adds a lot.
