Publisher's summary

I was 12 when I started crushing on him. I was 17 when I met him by chance, and our connection was made. Now here I am, 23, and I'm one of the two actresses in the video for his band's latest single. Jesse Kingston is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I'm finding hard to resist. It ends up not being as simple as doing a job and going home. It can't be when he continually makes his presence known with his not-so-innocent touches and sexy words. There is no avoiding him, and after spending so much time with him, I'm not sure I want to.

So, when he proposes a weekend together, I throw caution to the wind and say yes. I'm going to ignore the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn't. I'm going to indulge my fantasies and give this sexy rocker what he wants and something he won't soon forget - me. The only question is: Is one weekend going to be enough? Will our time end up changing this bad boy? Or will it end up changing me?

Cool rocker story

while there are more than a few eye roll worthy moments, there were just as many cute ones to make up for it.
Decent narration made the story worth listening to on audio book as well. :)

Fun sexy rock and roll love story

Great story HORRIBLE narrator...just bad. Enjoyed reading this book but listening was torture. Flat performance that did nothing for the story.

Ok story, but TERRIBLE Narration

Full disclosure - I did listen to this entire book. If we were not in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak I probably would have abandoned the book, but I have lots of time at the moment.
The story dragged on. There were so many drawn out sex scenes that it got boring. There are plenty of books where the characters are having lots of sex, but we don’t need the full description over and over and over again. It completely takes away from the story.
The narration was awful! Chandra cannot do a male voice at all. So it became confusing to keep the characters sorted out. She should only be narrating female characters.

Falling down- great story but missed it with the narrator

The storyline is great and I finished listening just because of that, the narration left a lot to be desired. Very monotone and robotic sounding. Jessie sounds like he’s about to fall asleep talking- slow and no inflections. Ethan sounds ridiculous. I am hoping the second book will be better with a different narrator.

outstanding audible version of Falling Down!

I loved this version of Anne Mercier's rockstar romance Falling Down. Jesse and Lucy are beauiful together and the narrator does a Fantastic job of bringing these two much loved characters to life!

Jersey Barbie Goes To Hollywood

Jersey Shore Barbie goes to Hollywood at 17, becomes an Academy Award winning actress by 23, meets her heart-throb rocker boyfriend, they fall madly in love. Oh, and JSB actress Lucia & her adopted sister/cousin model Serafina give up those boring careers to become rockers themselves because they are just so musically talented and have notebooks full of songs they have written over the years. Isn't it swell that Lucia's father didn't follow his dad into the mafia so he can raise Lucia & Joey in the upper-middle-class lifestyle they are entitled to? And aren't they wonderful for adopting Serafina when her father (Lucias' Uncle & his wife) were murdered? Bad choice, Uncle, for following your dad into the family business! (Hey, don't worry! Sera can move on with her life knowing Grandpa, the Don, avenged her family. Isn't that sweet?) Lucy & her sister & band move in with rocker boyfriend & his band in their mansion & become one big happy musical family. If you can ignore the story being written in 3rd person, then jumping back and forth from Lucy to Jesse you can find parts to enjoy. Buy kindle, or kindle with audio, but Audible only on sale.

Awesome First in Series

I absolutely loved this book. I love rock star stories. They are so exciting and this one fits the bill. The accidental meeting when Lucy as a teenager was little far fetched, but you can always wish. A teenager's dream come true. There were a lot of characters and I had to listen closely to figure out who was who. However, the author must have understood that because she introduced them several times. That was a big help. This book had all the elements of an HEA with a lot of other stuff thrown in. Love the Italian touch. The narrator did a great job. However, if I wasn't listening closely I missed who was talking. Gonna get the next one in the series. This was a standalone, but I didn't want the story to stop. Love to see this story in a movie. I think it would be great.

Favorite Story, Least Favorite Narrator

I love Anne Mercier, lover her love her love her. her Rock star series has been one of my favorite a for a VERY long time.
but this audio book killed it!
the narrator was too old, and didn't have the right tone or inflection for this story

my advice buy the book or the e book, not the audiobook
