Nebraska born and bred Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper, after his own family has perished in a tornado, is ordered to meet the family of a prominent San Diego psychiatrist. The doctor's brother is a fallen SEAL medic who died in Grenada. There, Cooper meets Libby Brownlee, the beautiful niece of this fallen hero. Heavily influenced by her father, "We don't speak military here," is her comment about the military in general, and the SEAL community in particular. What starts out as a frosty debate between two people privately dealing with their own personal grief, turns into a passionate affair neither expected. Just as Cooper realizes perhaps Libby is the woman he's always been looking for, she is snatched out from under him by a psychopathic killer bent on revenge. Dr. Brownlee is forced to rely on Cooper's help, along with his buddies in SEAL Team 3. Will Cooper be able to survive the loss of the woman he loves, or will his self sacrifice be enough to keep her safe?

"To Thy Known Self Be True"
Entertaining, great story and sex scenes.
Cooper was a SEAL that I can easily identify with. He was easy going, strong and he loved not only his woman but his dog.
I've heard Mr. Hart narrate other books. He does outstanding work. I do prefer his storytelling of romance. I really prefer his character as the narrator and hearing the story from his perpespective. His masculine voice can be strong at times and as smooth as butter at other times. He does great character voices with accents.
I usually listen to audio books at night for about two hours. So, I enjoyed this one in about a week at night and in my car on the way home from work.
I can't wait to hear more from Sharon Hamilton and J.D. Hart.
The family that they have within their own!
They all are!! I was rooting for them all.
I just sank into the story, I was able to see the scenes in my mind while it was being told! Great job!!
Yes i would definitely listen to this again. There are some really exciting and very sensual moments, also i really like the interaction between the SEALs, and JD Hart's remarkable voice
i had a big lump in my throat when *Coop* found his dog, also i loved all the sensual love scenes between Libby and Coop they were so romantic. Also i love it when team SEAL 3 get together their interaction and their loyality to one another is so good and honourable
Yes ive listened to all J D Hart's narration of all Sharon Hamilton SEAL books and Honeymoon Bite and throughly enjoyed everyone. He brings that added dimension to the stories with his clever attention to detail and his wonderful expression he puts into all the accents he uses.
Yes it was. I was lucky enough to read most of this while travelling.
i highly recommend these audio books of Sharon Hamilton's books and JD Hart narration. If your looking for gorgeous heroes, fiesty heroines and action packed adventure with very sensual romantic stories and the seductive, melting voice of J D Hart
Okay there is SO MUCH that I want to say in this review BUT as always I hate giving anything away about the plot!!!
I am not exactly sure how Ms. Hamilton does it! You read the summary for a book and go okay this sounds interesting but what is packed into a book of hers and what is put on the back are two COMPLETELY different things. There is hurt so deep that you ache. Passion so intense you feel singed by it. It sucks you in until by the end of the book you feel like you've known these people all your life!
Of course no book would be a great book without a fabulous storyteller like Mr. JD Hart! His deep voice... The depth of emotion that he puts into it... He is the voice of these SEALs!
N.Y. Times Bestselling Author
Yes, absolutely! I have been a fan of Sharon Hamilton for years now and each book is better than the last.
I loved the obvious chemistry between Coop and Libby, which of course they deny.
I love J.D. narrattions. He brings the story to life in a way in I wouldn't be able to do reading the book on my own.
The Seal Brotherhood is one of my favorite series. I love Sharon's descriptive writing and how she brings these heroes to life.
I would recommend it to a friend IF they liked their stories HOT. This was a wonderful, intense story.
It broke my heart when Coop lost his entire family. So devastating. Finding his dog helped build some hope into the story early on.
Oh yes. I've been enjoying all of Ms. Hamilton's stories. This is building the SEAL family from the ground up.
SEALs are heroes overseas. Coming home, they decompress, build relationships and families, but they can't always turn off that training. She manages to capture that.
Yes. Love the storyline. I still love Freda's voice. It still makes me laugh.
My favorite part of the book is when Austin, Libby's dad, and Coop interacted. They had me laughing. My favorite line from Austin is "She's f*cking him! She thinks she's in love with him." You need to read why Austin said this. Each time they interacted, it was like they were a part of an atom, where one of them is the neutron and the other was the proton. Meaning each time they bounced off of one another---> Complete opposites in each conservation.
The last scene of the book!!
When Coop does everything in his power to rescue Libby.
Wow! I can not believe how many emotions I had during this audio. The beginning was so sad. Poor Coop to lose his family in a tornado.
In this book, we got a lot.
I needed to know what/who/why to what was going on at the Brownlee's house. Why was this all happening? Who was doing this? I was guessing who was doing this from the start of it. I am not going to say who because I do not want to give away anything that is good!
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Would I recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes!
Would I read more from this author? Yes!
Yes it was a great story
Accidental Seal same author the first one it was good but this one was better
he makes the characters come alive and he made Coop very sexy
In the beginning when Coop lost his family and went home to the funeral thinking he had lost everyone and his dog finds him it was a bittersweet moment and I cried a bit
This ranks at the top of all audio's I have listened too. I love the Seals!!
Cooper has to be my favorite. Although he has suffered much loss and doesn’t really deal with it. He just tends to hit that nerve with me that makes me smile.
I absolutely loved the narrator’s voice. It just made me melt again, as it did in the last book. Please keep JD as the narrator for future books…
Although I would have rather listened to this all in one sitting. I listened to it on my commute to and from work.
I absolutely love that this one is multi POV. But I do however want to see what happens with Armando. He just seems so interesting, as wellSharon Hamilton, you have done it again!!!!!
