I love how the narrator brought the story to life.
Eve's Gift by Nicole Garcia was a great quick read. Eve was looking for someone special to share her life with although she also fears commitment. I loved reading about Eve meeting Adam and seeing their relationship blossom. I love Nicole Garcia's writing and love her stories. I can't wait to read more that she writes.
Eve's character is so well developed and the story line is so true to life that it was just like talking to a friend that you haven't been around for a while and your catching up.
I like how Eve is. She is snarky, but it is just a cover. She wants the kind of life her friend has.... I knew a girl like that once.
It is the kind of story that could really happen. The characters were easy to know.
I read this story and really enjoyed it, but when I listened to Ms Marlowe it was like getting the story for the very first time. She brings life into it that you just can't get from reading.
I did listen to it all at once.
I haven't read the print version. What I love about the audio is that I can listen to it while I work. In fact in parts of the book it got so good I forgot to work.
I loved the part where Eve ran full out into Adam, not realizing until later who he really was.
I think the voice dynamics pulls you more into the story.
Yes and did and have already re-listened to.
Yes, I was drawn in rom page one. It's a short story, so listening in one siting was not a problem. I was left wanting more.

I wouldn't say it was better because I loved reading it but listening to it brought it more to life for me
Eve had a kind of spunkiness to her and it made her very likeable
Eve for sure
I smiled alot, what's not to like it's perfect for the upcoming holidays
This just seals the deal for me Nicole Garcia is one of my favorite authors she never disappoints
Charming love story
I loved that Eve is such a fun character. She is full of life and sass. The first time she meets Adam she tells him off without worrying about who he is and came up with some very colorful names to call him.
Ms.Marlowe has a very soft spoken voice and goes out of her way to convey what each character is feeling. Her inflection and the attitude she projects for her characters make them very life like and makes the story feel real.
The most moving part of this story was when Adam tells Eve about losing his family. She had just called him some very bad things and he still told her something that tore him apart so she could understand why he behaved the way he did.
I love the tone of each of these Christmas stories. Each tale makes you smile and laugh and leaves a good feeling behind when it is finished. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Garcia has planned for book 3
I enjoyed listening to the audio and Kat did a very good job, but I love reading, so I would have to go with the print version is better.
Eve. I love her whole persona she does what she wants, doesn't care what people think and she stands up for herself, doesn't take crap from anyone.
Find in love where you least expect it!
