Everyone Loves a Hero: And That's the Problem

Reluctantly famous, First Officer Cole Langston finds that being in the spotlight has its advantages - until he meets Olivia. Having women throw themselves at him everywhere he goes becomes a serious problem when he's trying to convince her that she's the one. Olivia has trouble trusting a guy like Cole, and everywhere she turns she sees reasons to run. But he's the only man who has ever seemed to understand her as an artist and as a woman. "Uhm... No"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm not really sure. Unless you're into the whole "let's have sex after just meeting and oh I love you regardless of not knowing anything about you" And the hero? Really? I was turned off by him Breaking up with his other "girlfriends/friends with benefits" while on a weekend getaway with the "heroine". Just no.

Would you ever listen to anything by Marie Force again?

As long as it's not sex in every chapter...

Would you listen to another book narrated by Tanya Eby?

Yes. That's a reason why I decided to listen to it. I'm a fan of Tanya Eby audiobook narrations.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Everyone Loves a Hero?

    I'd rewrite the whole book.

    "Not worth buying"
What disappointed you about Everyone Loves a Hero?

I have listened to 1/2 of the book and it is boring. I do not care about the characters. There is no sparkle. Nothing I have heard so far makes me want to continue to listen to the book

Would you ever listen to anything by Marie Force again?

I will try her again, maybe this is her off day book.

What didn’t you like about Tanya Eby’s performance?

I do not like her voice for Cole, he sounds like a very young experienced kid. Her reading of this book has no feeling.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    No

    Any additional comments?

    I am returning this book.
